“Kudos to Chef Keith Rhodes and his "restaurant family"”
Reviewed 13 March 2013

First the staff was very pleasant, attentive, and welcoming. Although it was our first visit, we were made to feel like family. The menu had so many good choices it was hard to decide. However, we knew we were going to get the "Pan roasted back fin & lump crab cakes" because we had read a review someone else wrote about them. They were "outrageous". We started with crab claws with a cream sauce as an appetizer, followed by a romaine salad with ginger dressing and for dessert we had guava creme brulee.

When we left we were already talking about what we would order on our next visit. If you try "The Catch" we guarantee you will love it.

“Delicious food and relaxing environment”
Reviewed 2 March 2013

My husband and I were pleased with the classy but laid back atmosphere. My husband ordered a local artisan beer called Momma Earth. It was incredible, well worth the $12/glass price tag. Our appetizer (oysters) was pretty good. I had tuna for my main course and my husand had lobster - both were amazing! Yes, the price is somewhat high but it was worth it! Catch definitely earned the title of Best Seafood Restaurant in Wilmintgon.

“Fantastic Flounder Found!!”
Reviewed 2 March 2013

We returned to Catch for the first time since Sept. 2012 for lunch & found it to still be wonderful! I ordered the flounder platter special & was surprised to see the flounder done more in the style of fish & chips-in battered pieces, fried to perfection. It was the most delicious flounder I have ever had-flaky, tender with the crispy batter & melt in your mouth goodness. Another at my table said he wished he had more than the small sample I gave him. The others ordered the lobster roll & shrimp po'boy. All our meals came with homemade french fries that were very tasty & mine also had cole slaw that was perfect.

There were a large number of specials mentioned by our server & the menu has a big selection of lunch items. They have a sizeable wine list & good regional, local & imported beer options. We were very comfortable & not rushed at all, even though it was the noon hour. Our table was ready for us as we had booked ahead using Open Table. There was plenty of parking as the restaurant is in a small strip mall. It's great to have this restaurant located away from the downtown area, making it easier for customers on the north end of Wilmington.

You will not be disappointed!

“Chef Keith Rhodes Delivers!”
Reviewed 27 February 2013

Awesome jalapeno dirty martinis and cosmos started the evening off right! To start, the 4 of us shared the Firecracker shrimp and then the Fried Oysters on top of a blue cheese slaw. Followed by their Sweet potato salad, which was very tasty and refreshing. The entrees followed with a reasonably priced Pinot Noir. The highlights were the Scallop dish and the NC Blacken filet. Meme was fantastic in her recommendations and wasn't shy to give her expert opinion! My only suggestions would be throw a candle on the table and dim the lights a bit to create an ambiance. Otherwise amazing service and food quality!!!!!!
