We stayed here for 3 nights over a holiday weekend.
Pros: decent price for Wilmington during 4th of July weekend, short drive to Old Historic Downtown area and the beaches, free breakfast (it's not amazing but there's yogurt, waffles, fruit, eggs, etc. and hey it's free!), spacious room (1 king bed + sitting area with sofa), comfortable bed and pillows, pretty quiet, complimentary eye make up remover (this was a life saver for a bridesmaid who never wears make up!), free Wi-Fi (slow, though).
Cons: humidity (see below), located in strip mall area of Wilmington (that's why it's cheaper though), tiny bathroom with door that very inconveniently opens inward, room was kind of dark (our room was located on first floor facing the parking lot so we didn't want to open the curtains), fairly thin walls/doors (we woke up to a crying toddler across the hallway one morning).
I'd consider giving four stars if it weren't for our really damp room. I understand Wilmington isn't located in the desert, but our room was so humid that the clothes we placed in the drawers were actually damp when we took them out. Because of the dampness, the room smelled musty. It wasn't unbearable, but it was not pleasant. Wilmington was humid, but our room was even more humid than the outside. At least it's good for my skin!
