Have been here 4 or 5 times and each time has been great. It's a wonderful place for lunch; cute decor and nice views of the river. Each table setting has a miss-matched china tea cup and saucer, and this along with the creamers, and sugar bowls with sugar cubes and sugar tongs add a nice touch! We have had the dessert tea, sandwiches, scones, and the children's pb and j/ cheese plates. All were delicious. You choose your flavor/ type of tea and they are generous with refills of creamer and sugar cubes (for children who doctor their tea lots). You can purchase tea pots, and tea items including children's tea sets. Fun time with delicious food. I do think this would be a nerve-racking place for toddlers because of the china but for little girls 4 and up this place is a highlight of a trip downtown!

Great service, cute decorations, and tasty treats with a view of the water. A small tucked away place that I've been going to for years. Definitely stop by the tea room for a classy meal.

Everything was very fresh! My sister and I had a lovely lunch there. The restaurant has quite a nice variety of teas to choose from as well as an Iced tea of the day. Sandwiches were delicious and bread was very fresh too. Berry fruit was also very fresh and juicy. Salad dressing was very tasty.

This is a gem! A lovely experience with an abundance of atmosphere and tasty food. From the moment you walk in you feel the charm and the calm of this adorable place. The tables are set with lovely china and the room is sunny and serene.
The full tea option is quite a deal. For around $15.00 you get a delicious salad or soup, an array of finger sandwiches, scones with jam and Devonshire cream, and a sampling of delicious sweets. There is classical music playing softly in the background and everyone in the place seems to be on best behavior. This is a very special place and I highly recommend it. Make sure you call for reservations in advance because it is small and usually booked up.

My mom and I came here on Mother's Day and had a fantastic time. We had the full tea which had soup or salad, fruit, sandwiches and desert. WIth hot tea of course. The view is outstanding since it is on the river. The food was tasty and the service was good. I will come back for sure.
