Basic, but cheap. And nice and clean. Rooms are big and equipped with your basics. Staff is friendly, service minded.
It is located 30 min walk from historic downtown. Same distance to Independence Mall.
Not much more to say. Great if you are in transit too. Not far from airport.

I needed a cheap place to stay and the hotel's weekly rate fit the bill. There was more than enough room since it was just myself and I was even able to set up my desktop computer to search for jobs and apartments in the area. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. I would definitely recommend the hotel to visitors who need someplace cheap and close to the beach.

I stayed here prior to a family reunion. This was perfect for my needs, an economical room in a safe area, free convenient parking, free wifi, lots of nearby restaurants, and about 15 minutes from downtown.

I was very pleased by the warm service provided by Sterling at the front desk and Annette the manager. And I appreciated the continental breakfast available the next morning. All in all, a great stay.

Me an my boyfriend went down for a relaxing getaway- we live in myrtle beach- an wanted to get away for a bit- yes we went to another "beach location" but did not visit the beach- I booked this hotel online an only bc of the price! It was worth the 2 min drive to "historic Wilmington" the staff was wonderful an helpful! So polite an answered all of our questions- rooms were small but good enough for 2 people! Would of loved a refrigerator but it worked! Pretty clean for the most part- an extremely happy with the price- "you get what you pay for" we didn't make it to the breakfast was it was wonderful staying there an will revisit again! :) thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Came for the weekend and was greeted by the most unfriendly attitudinal woman. From there on out it went from bad to worse. Extremely rude receptionists, dirty rooms, filth in the toilet, dirty sheets, etc. please do yourself the favor. You will be greatly displeased. They clearly don't care about cleanliness or customer service. The receptionist was extremely disrespectful to a young man with a disability. I am disgusted. Will NEVER return.

If you're looking for an upscale place (Marriott, Hilton, even Hampton, Comfort, etc) this isn't for you. But, I was alone and didn't want to pay the exhorbitant over $100 prices just about everywhere at the beach in August -- even inland. They give discounts for seniors, for staying at least 2 days, for military, and others, and even in August, the prices can be as low as $65 even on weekend. I thought every single member of the staff at the front desk for three days was helpful, and recommended going to Casey's restaurant, one of the best buffets I've seen in years -- esp for only $10. The room was clean but basic, bed satisfactory, TV Ok, free phone calls and internet, and they had a good basic breakfast included with juice, nice rolls, instant grits, coffee, some fruit. Pool was clean, and MOST important, IT WAS QUIET. They insisted if there were any highjinks going on and too much noise, to let the front desk know immediately. Didn't have any problems, but it was nice to know, and I SLEPT! Only reason I didn't give them higher rating is because they are very basic, somewhat dated, but clean and functional. I do plan on returning, as I didn't care about the beach, and it's conveniently located to just about anything in Wilmington. Certainly close to the historic downtown.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on backside on second floor where there isn't someone over you who might make noi...

This was a very pleasant hotel in a convenient location. Our room was very spacious and the bed was excellent. We liked the Keurig coffee maker in our room; a lot of hotels are doing this now and it makes perfect sense. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. We would certainly return there.
