Staff was really friendly and helpful. Room was clean but with too much noise coming from the next room. We had some problem connecting with the wifi but the staff helped us. And we went for breakfast at 8:45 and we didn't find anything left. All the food was gone! But definitely I would stay there again!

This used to be a Motel 6, but it is no longer, and it shows. The manager has worked hard to make this a clean, safe, motel. It is taking some time as you might see by looking at some of the older rooms that have not yet been updated.
PLUSES: The Doggie side of the motel. There is one part of the motel that is set aside just for guests who want to bring their furry friends. It is towards the back of the motel, has a nice place under the shade of the trees to walk your dog. I will admit that at the time I stayed there, several of the rooms had a very very strong dog odor. Apparently they had some dogs who liked to destroy things, and have parties. (: However, I asked to be moved, and they honored my request.
Please clean up after your pets! When you don't, it ends up in the rivers, which supply our water (that you end up drinking). It is also the Law and is punishable by a fine.Dogs must be on leashes at all times.

There is no getting around the fact that many of the rooms are small. A two person room is much better suited for just one person. However, the rooms are clean, they are inspected daily by the head housekeeper, and the maids work hard to keep it that way..
The wireless access is great. I have never been kicked off or had a bad reception. This is due to the installation of an amplifier.
The pool is small, but it is clean. There is a shower that you can use outside by the pool.
A small laundry room is available for guests to do their laundry. There is two washers and two dryers. Unfortunately when I stayed there, the A/C unit was not working in the room.
The "exercise room" consists of a couple of bikes and a treadmill.
HOWEVER: Most people come to Wilmington to see the sites, visit the many beaches, and to enjoy good food, (and maybe run into a movie star, or the filming of dramas like Under the Dome); Not to stay holed up in their hotel rooms.
For the price, the Inn at Wilmington is a great value. There is a continental breakfast in the morning that is better than those of "name brand" motels. The staff is there if you need anything 24/7.

Room Tip: Rooms in the courtyard are quieter, and have some trees for shade.

We found this hotel on a whim. We randomly decided to stay in Wilmington, and every chain hotel was booked. The price was cheap, and the location was ideal. The hotel was worth the money. The room was dated, but very clean. The front desk staff was extremely friendly. We would stay here again for a short weekend trip.

We had many problems on top of it the double queen beds not fitting in room. The drains had to be unclogged upon arrival, the air conditioning didn't cool well, the door safety latch was broke, the air conditioning filter was filthy, the floor was so dirty that after a shower and a few steps on the carpet the floor would turn your feet black, we had to wait several hours for towels and wash cloths, and no TV remote.

This is a motel. It has two stories, no elevator and doors on the outside of the building. However, I never felt unsafe there. The room I was in was much cleaner than many three/four-star hotels I've stayed in. The staff was efficient. It is affordable and conveniently located to just about everything in the area.

Stayed for a working weekend. Went to room and saw "guest" rooms with doors open and parties going on.Two women traveling alone it was very uncomfortable walking past rooms with all males that were intoxicated & dancing in the doorways. Entered our room, we pulled the comforter back and found pubic hairs on pillows..gross!! 2nd night of staying there-kept awake to a dog barking in the next room and some drunk party animal screaming until 4am!
And to top it off the floor would have been more comfortable instead of sleeping on springs. Nasty, nasty place!!

Room Tip: There are no good tips in choosing a good room at this hotel it is just plan terrible and clearly us...
