The Pirate's Table was recommend to us by a Carolina Beach local woman at a produce market. We figured she knew what she was talking about, and we were not disappointed. This is a plain, simple restaurant in a little strip mall on Carolina Beach Rd. The employees were friendly and did their jobs expertly. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. My husband had the flounder stuffed with crab, shrimp, and scallops. It had been recommended by our waitress, and he loved it. I had a combo platter with crab cakes and fried flounder. I got two large and scrumptious crab cakes and a big piece of flounder with green beans and French fries for $10.95!! Wow! We won't hesitate to go back!

We originally found this restaurant after searching the GPS for seafood listings. It is in a small strip of shops but do not let the outside fool you. My wife and I had the Pirates Platter and the portions was large enough for us to share and still take some home with us. Most platters come with two sides and there is a good selection there. The seafood is fried but is in no way greasy, some of the best we have had. Like I said this is our third visit to Wilmington and our third visit to the restaurant. As the saying goes, try it, you will like it. Also, the listing say Wilmington DE but it is really in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The food here is great. Nice menu selections. Very casual, no frills type of place, but the prices reflect it. You can have fine seafood at a good price and not pay for a lot of atmosphere. Also a great place for lunch.
