“Four hours is too long”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

The four hour nature cruise up the Cape Fear River and the Black River with a very interesting guide was just a little too long. The nature and environment expert was fascinating, interesting and extremely knowledgeable. I just think the return ride could have been a little faster or the whole trip could have been a little shorter. There were drinks on board the boat, but you are encouraged to bring your own lunch.

“Riverboat Tour”
Reviewed 30 September 2013

Nice boat, very well maintained. An hour and a half though is a long time to see what would be basically 15 minutes of waterfront in a faster boat. If you just want a relaxing ride and don't care about how much of the river you will be viewing, then this is the trip for you.

“Relaxing cruise, limited amount to see”
Reviewed 15 September 2013

We went on an hour long sightseeing river cruise on a small boat. The cruise started and ended in downtown Wilmington. We were the only ones on the boat so we effectively had a private cruise. There was narration through most of the cruise that was quite interesting and informative. The most interesting parts of the cruise are around the USS North Carolina battleship and the down-town area. The rest of the cruise is around the port area which is of less interest. However, on a hot summer's day, it was a relaxing way to spend an hour and our children quite enjoyed it.

“Dinner cruise”
Reviewed 17 August 2013 via mobile

Boat was in need of some updating but didn't take away from the overall experience. Had a great BBQ dinner and was all you can eat. Tour was a little over 2hrs long and had great scenic views of Wilmington and the Cape Fear River.
