“Great Alaskan Crab Legs”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 August 2013

We went to this restaurant our first night in Wilmington and had broiled flounder-very well prepared. Waitress told us they had a special on Wednesday night-1 lb of crab legs for $12; usually $18. We went back. The crab legs were fantastic. Many sides to choose from. I liked the complimentary hush puppies. Friendly and helpful wait staff. No atmosphere or view.

“Great seafood -”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2013

This is a local sportsbar type of place. Nothing fancy but good food.
We ordered the Big Daddy steamer pot. It consisted of crab legs, shrimp, oysters, clams and mussels along with a few potatoes and 2 ears of corn. The food was good and glad we tried the steamer method however we prefer this type as a low country boil.

We also had the crab dip as appetizer and was excellent.

They do offer fried, broiled and grilled choices as well. I will go back and try again using a different cooking method.

“Good food but TVs everywhere”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2013

Next door to Poplar Grove so we had lunch here. Food was very reasonable and the staff attentive but if you don't like lots of tellys then this is one to avoid.

“Overpriced and under quality”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2013

Went there for blue crab and paid the ridiculous price of $28 per dozen for extra large crabs and got 12 small to medium crabs. When I questioned the server she said those are the largest we have. Interior greatly in need of renovation

“Good Lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2013

My wife has always wanted a soft shell crab sandwich, so this was her chance to get one. She said it was very good. It was served with a side of homemade potato chips with Old Bay seasoning sprinkled on them.
When I'm near any coastal area I am always on a quest for clam chowder. The chowder served here was very good and reminded me of the chowder served at the Chowder House in Pike Place Market, so it was very good.
The service was friendly and good, so all in all I give this restaurant a very good review.
