“Quality Food but Expensive”
Reviewed 23 May 2014

Carol and I stopped in after church last Sunday (5/18) and were surprised that it was not crowded and were immediately seated.

Nice touch to have Bennie Hill playing sax as lounge music. Tried the eggs benedict and they were quite good. Danielle was excellent as a server, meeting our needs but not being pushy.

On the pricey side, coffee is $3.00 per cup, and our brunch for two was $30.00 including gratuity.

RECOMMENDED BUT NOT FOR EVERYONE

“Eat at the bar or pass!”
Reviewed 16 May 2014 via mobile

We've eaten here a number of times and have learned you can get great service at the bar versus mediocre service sitting in the dining room. So much so that if you can't sit at the bar, it's worth moving on and trying again another night. The cocktails are inventive and well made. We love the expansive cheese menu and how well the tapas show off the olive oils. Serving sizes vary (some dishes true euro tapas size and others slightly more ample) so don't arrive hungry or you'll rack up a bill. Four cocktails and two for dinner is commonly over $100 with tip.

“Happy On A Plate”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

What a great experience!!
Olive Cafe & Wine Bar bills itself as "An Epicurean Emporium Devoted To Taste."
And a very accurate description it is.
Stopped in for a leisurely lunch with family the other day. Picked the restaurant by chance while on vacation. Now I wish there was one nearby.
The menu includes a large selection of cheeses, perfect wine matches, a nice lunch menu, interesting natural sodas. oh, did I mention the BEST dessert I have ever eaten? Think it was called a take 5 cake (maybe), but I called it Happy On A Plate ;)
Many dishes are served with specialty vinaigrettes that are perfectly paired to the dish.
Service - excellent
Atmosphere - relaxed, friendly, upscale
Price - $$ great value
Menu - diverse with a delight for every appetite

We really enjoyed our Olive Cafe, and would like to thank the owner, chef, and our server for making turning a quick lunch with family into such a great adventure!

Restaurant is attached to Taste The Olive - a fabulous shop that sells olive oils and balsamic vinegars from all around the world. Please stop in after your meal!

“excellent dinner at this wine bar and cafe”
Reviewed 28 March 2014

Everything was right at this wine bar and cafe. Great service (waitress was always smiling) and nice cold sparkling rose with a very tasty Mediterranean meal. Will definitely go there again.

“never again”
Reviewed 20 March 2014

I really dislike writing bad reviews but I can't get over this disaster. The place looks nice and I like the menu and wine list. However, this was the WORST meal I've had in years. Service is slow and inept and the food is worse. Everyone in our party left unhappy. I strongly reccomend eating anywhere else. Anywhere.Else.
