This is not a restaurant, it is a grocery store, albeit one with a small café where you can eat what you purchased in the prepared-foods department. This store is fairly new to Wilmington, and was a much-needed addition. It was followed shortly after its arrival by Trader Joe's. We are coming up in the world. Now if we could only get a Wegman's! Whole Foods is a great place to shop when you are having a special meal, and they are famous for their organic foods. Thank heaven they are now here.

Want to get some incredible shopping done and eat some incredible food at the same time? Whole Food is Wilmington is your place.. No it's not for the entire food shopping, but I'll guarantee you'll find some interesting fruits and vegetables, , fish ,salad dressings, and fantastic food, you won't find any place else. Then you can sit down at their buffet and enjoy as little or as much as you want of very special dishes they have prepared. Of course then you'll have to pick up a few items to prepare the special dishes yourself as they are that terrific.

Whole Foods is a unique grocery store offering healthy and unusual productst. The seafood is fresh and delicious. Also they offer prepared foods and have a very nice eating area. They are a little pricey but worth it.

Great variety of foods. Prices a bit above the average. A lot like the grocery stores of the 50s....

My husband and I typically eat at Whole Foods at least once a week. Besides having a large assortment of typical grocery products, they also have a hot bar with a variety of food. There is always a salad bar with varied fruits and veggies, no matter what time of day. We love their breakfast bar, which typically contains bacon, sausage, vegan sausage, grits, eggs, potatoes, biscuits, french toast or pancakes, and oatmeal. The food quality is higher than all other breakfast places we have tried in Wilmington. They also have make smoothies behind the bakery, and a bunch of pastry options/coffee. The lunch/dinner buffet is great if you need a quick meal on the go. It's also nice to get the portion size you would like instead of a full meal. The price is comparable to other breakfast places.

The seating area is quite large and kept very clean. They also have cups for water, a microwave, and a toaster if you need it. In my opinion, this is one of the best places for a quick meal in Wilmington. If we are traveling, we will also stop at Whole Foods in other cities because I know we can get a healthy and high-quality meal there.

I also would like to mention that I have had excellent customer service from all employees at this location. Everyone has gone above and beyond to answer my questions fully and help me to locate products. I am so glad that Whole Foods has a store in Wilmington!
