This is great for adults and kids. Learn some of the incredible history of this beautiful city in a fun manner. There is talk of murder and death but done in such a manner that makes it kid friendly depending on your child. Mine are in high school but the tour we were on had several kids as young as 7 and they were fine.

The tour guides are entertaining and dramatic but don't over do it. The walk is easy some hills a few blocks with plenty of time to rest as the guides stop and tell their stories.

Bring your camera and take plenty of photos to look at later.

The tour ends right down the street from Kilwins Ice Cream for some of the best ice cream you can find. But that is for another review

Our guide was a lot of fun, has done a good deal of research, and has had some personal experiences he shared with our group. Is a great combo of history and haunts. We checked out the store at the end of the tour and bought a few books. A great tour to do while in Wilmington.

If you like ghost stories and history in general, this is a fun way to spend a few hours with your tweets and teens. The tour guide dresses for the part and obviously enjoys her job. Good clean fun!

We took both this tour and the ghost walk

Both tours we luckily ended up with the same guide John Scott

On this tour though we had a handicapped person with us.

They told us before hand that some of the bars and pubs had steps and we were prepared to take him out of his motorized wheelchair and carry him.

But, when we arrived john remember me and my buddy from the ghost walk and he did everything he could to make our friend included.

He rearranged the entrances and took us on the easiest ways around so our friend didn't have any problems getting around in his chair.

John went above and beyond his duty of a guide to make us all included.

We all enjoyed all his stories and he took time to make sure our friend was included in every way.

Thank you so much for what you did.

Kudos

While in town we did the ghost walk and throughly enjoyed it.

Our tour guide John Scott was awesome and we also did the haunted pub crawl and surprisingly we got him for that tour also!

He was very friendly and enjoyable to listen to. Telling us the stories of the past and history of Wilmington.

If there are small kids in the group he will calm the story down so not to scare or get too gruesome.

Luckily our group was all adults so he didn't have to improvise any.

He took his time going into detail and answering questions!

If you take this tour take it with john Scott

Thanks for a great time John
