Tavern recently started an "open Mike" session on Sunday evenings, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. - outdoors, under the shade of large Live Oaks, range of music. We were lucky hear blue grass played on mandolins and guitars - Steve had the mike but being "open" everyone was welcome to play. Phil Kelly was up, singing and playing original pieces on guitar - great evening, great venue, but if travelling into town on Hwy 17 Business you might have to do a U turn at the Marsh Oaks lights - tavern is right next to the intersection with loads of parking. Great idea by the owner. Children and animals are not welcome at this time slot.
Well kept secret and well worth a visit!
