Been visiting wilmington for years before deciding to move here. This place has been a staple stop in spot when we actually get to go venture out. I love the beer selection and especially their seasonal selections. They have a Scottish Ale aged in bourbon barrels thats amazing and i love their apps Absolutely love this place, I highly suggest giving this place a try!

On a road trip and stayed over in Wilmington. After too many hours driving, we decided that dinner would be really casual...a bear / glass of wine and some finger foods. Walked a few blocks from our hotel and fell upon The Front Street Brewery. We chose it because it seemed busy and in a small quiet town in late December, busy indicated popular which mean good. We were so right. This place was welcoming, like mostly all places in the south, with smiles and a charming southern drawls. Our waitress was more than pleasant and our service was good. The food we ordered was delicious and in all we were so pleasantly surprised mostly because we never eat bar food, but we were glad we did this time.

We stopped to grab a drink but decided to eat since several things on the menu looked good. They were hit, miss, and epic fail. The fried pickles were nicely done...crisp and crunchy. The steak tips were good but there were more mushrooms than steak. Then the pulled chicken...gross! The plate was swimming with greasy water which meant the undercooked potato salad was also swimming. Very disappointing meal. And the music was this horrible mix of 80s R&B.

My wife and I visit Wilmington several times each winter while staying in nearby Mrytle Beach, SC. which is one hour away. We find Wilmington to be pleasant place to visit because it is a working city with an active waterfront and downtown area. It is not a tourist trap.

We have eaten at a number of locations mostly in the downtown area. We enjoyed a recent lunch stop at the Front Street Brewery and we will definitely go back again. Our lunches were tasty and well prepared. The service was quick and friendly. The lunch specials were well priced which is always a bonus. The Front Street Brewery makes a variety of beers on-site and I wish very much that someone else had been driving so I could have experienced a few more!! The only negative comment we would make would be that the noise level was high due to background music being played at too high a volume. Half as loud would have been adequate.

I'm not a beer drinker but my husband's beer choices were lovely. My house wine, not so good. Spacious restaurant with upstairs and downstairs dining. Excellent variety of menu choices. Good wait staff. We had delicious meals at very reasonable prices, left in a good mood.
