“Good hopping place for lunch, dinner, or late night in downtown”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

Front Street Brewery is a good place to have pretty good food for a very reasonable price in downtown Wilmington. They have good lunch and dinner items along with the typical bar fare. It being a brewery, they have a ton of different beer options, new brews to try, and always a beer or drink or two on special.

Not going to say this is the best option downtown, but its something reasonable to go eat downtown and not spend a ton of money but still have a good time. However, definitely worth a try.

“Long wait for terrible food!!!”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

We had to wait approx. 25 minutes for a table, and it was probably the worst table in the entire restaurant...on the 2nd floor in the corner, where the wait staff congregate. Granted the restaurant was busy, but the food took another 25 minutes to arrive, and was completely overcooked (fish), the fries were at best, luke warm/cold, and the waitress informed us that the kitchen forget to cook our child's meal. So, needless to say, we will not be returning, and will not recommend this restaurant to others.

“Great Beer, OK food”
Reviewed 22 July 2014 via mobile

The beer is very good as advertised. We both thought the service was very awkward and poor. The inside is very tavern like, but really showing age and is kind of run down in appearance. The menu was very average bar food. A little disappointed to be honest. Our son is attending UNCW and we are looking for a few good spots to count in when traveling to Wilmington and were hoping this would be one.

“Loved the burgers”
Reviewed 21 July 2014 via mobile

We visited Front Street Brewery on a Sunday night while vacationing. It looked bush from the outside but we were seated immediately. The menu has many options. I had the burger and it was delicious. They brew their own beer for $1.99 per glass. Very old and rustic building that has been preserved. It was very clean and the staff members were friendly. Definitely try it.

“BEST craft beer and BEST fried chicken dish I've ever had!”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

Wow! The very best fried chicken dish in Wilmington and the world at large can be found at Front Street Brewery, its called "Dixie Chicken". Man!!! was it good! My friends had burgers and grilled tuna over salad which was great by all accounts. They also have great beer that brewed on site and you can see the brewing vats and all of brewing process equipment, very cool. To drink I had their hefeweizen and Scottish Ale and was very impressed. The service was fast and friendly. Cudos to Front Street Brewery! Thank you!
