Beautiful location, excellent service and delicious breakfast! We went to the Graystone Inn for a few days for a couples get away. We had never been to Wilmington before, and the location was fabulous! The staff was incredibly helpful in suggesting places for us to eat and see!

Wife and I made a last minute decision to visit downtown Wilmington over the Memorial Day Weekend. Lucked up and was able to make reservations at the Graystone Inn. (Inn keeper stated that typically there was a 2 night requirement) Place is probably the most spacious B&B my wife and I have ever stayed. Bellevue Suite was the only one available... lucky us. The space was immaculate. With 18-foot ceilings, the suite is situated on the very private third floor of the mansion. Claw foot soaking tub and separate large walk-in shower, (double). Perfect for a romantic get-a-way, honeymoon or anniversary celebration. Few blocks from downtown so it was a perfect location. Only negative (if you want to call it that) for folks that are late sleepers, there are a several large windows that let in a lot of light in the morning... nevertheless.. this will not keep us from returning!

Excellent, beautiful inn set really close to the heart of Wilmington. Was really comfortable with some excellent touches. The breakfast was sublime. We stayed in the Bellevue suite which was really special with an enormous bed and a double shower and roll top bath. If you want something special then I would recommend this. Lovely.

The Graystone Inn was a perfect location to allow for strolls through the town of Wilmington. I was disappointed by the advertisement of fireplaces in the rooms but not of them worked. The decor was magnificent and the attention to detail was seen throughout the house. Unfortunately breakfast was not up the the standards we were expecting. the host were not in town the days we stayed.

The Graystone Inn in Wilmington NC, is the most marvelous place we have ever stayed. Rich and Marcia Moore the owners are the Very Soul of Hospitality. We were on our Honeymoon, and wanted somewhere wonderful to stay. We had been seeing many thing on PBS and in Our State Magazine about the Wilmington area. Fortunately we had an old Christmas issue of Our State and came across an Ad for The Graystone. We called and made reservations immediately. We were staying in the middle of the week, Tuesday though Friday. The rates were comparable to any other place we would have considered staying. We had their Signature Breakfast on Wednesday morning(Normally a check out day for most people). It was a Key Lime Stuffed French Toast. It was made with fresh French Baggets and a side of Applewood Smoked Sausage. That was in addition to all the fresh fruit and yogurt on a side table. If there is anything better for Breakfast it's waiting in Heaven. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous every morning. The Inn is four blocks from the Waterfront and with in easy walking distance to over 50 great restaurants. Richard keeps menus from many of them so you can decide what yu want even before you step out the front door.We felt so at home we had to go back & check to see if we had locked the room door. We were given keys to the front door alsoenabling us to come and go as we pleased. Anytime we are in Wilmington this is where we will stay, we are already planning another trip down.

We really enjoyed our one night stay at the Graystone Inn. The building is amazing in terms of the quality and the "solidness" of it. The room was huge and very nice (Bridgers Room). It is very interesting how all the TV shows and movies are filmed there. You can see why by the appearance.

Room Tip: Bridgers Room was very large and comfortable. A little street noise but not too bad.

What a wonderful place to celebrate after renewing our wedding vows. My husband and I stayed October 4th and 5th, 2013.we live in Wilmington but it felt like we were miles away from home. The building was absolutely beautiful. Our room was immaculant and comfortable. The bathroom was over-the-top with it's shower and tub each built for 2. The staff were friendly, knowledgable and gracious. The food was absolutley delicious. The setting was devine. So in all, The Graystone Inn exceeded all of our very demanding expectations. We will definately return again soon! Tommy and Lynda Barham
