The Verandas is truly one of the most exceptional B&Bs I have ever been to.
-Several common areas to relax including large living room and several porches accessible to all guests
-Modern, large bathrooms with soaking tubs
-Great breakfasts with either seating at large elegant table or table for two for more private dining
-The most gracious, knowledgeable and helpful innkeeper-Chuck Pennington
-Close proximity to riverwalk
I am hard pressed to come up with any negatives but in the interest of providing a balanced review, as with many B&Bs the inn is not handicapped accessible, you will need to carry your own luggage up at least one flight of stairs and find off-street parking.
This is a great place to either have as a base to tour sights in Wilmington or just relax and be pampered.
