Our party of two stopped at New Town Bistro around noon for lunch. What is great about the lunch menu is that, unlike some places, the menu is not over-bearing or cluttered. I ordered an "express lunch" consisting of a cup of soup - today's soup was a squash bisque that was fantastic, sweet potato fries and chicken salad. The chicken salad is made with nuts and raisins, a combination that adds zest to the salad. My friend ordered a "Kobe" burger with a bruschetta topping. It was excellent prepared and delicious. Our server was Jordan. She knew the menu very well and was able to explain various items, stopped by the table often - which I noticed she did at all four tables she was responsible for. Cheerful, knowledgeable associates are a real plus in any business but a restaurant they can really determine whether customers come back again. The restaurant was well located, easy to find off of main roads and a highway. The menu prices have something for every budget. A great place to go for lunch.
