WOW!! What a great restaurant! Very casual and very reasonable prices (at least in 2014).
This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have eaten at. Tony makes his own bread and his own noodles. The mussels in marinara sauce were very good and the fettuccine alfredo with white cream sauce is also very good. You can eat inside or outside. Service is great.

Tasty food, comfortable atmosphere, convenient location in an area of town that was in need of a solid option for gathering with friends. We made a reservation for seven through their website the day before and were happy with the arrangements upon arrival. The menu has a broad selection of Italian standards and a mix and match option which made it easy for everyone to find something they liked.

All entrees include salad making it an affordable night out.
We were too full for dessert, but plan to save room next time.

Tony, the Napoli-born owner, is proud of his new restaurant in the 200 block of Brookstown Ave. in Winston-Salem. They're open for lunch and dinner. Price range for lunch is $6-$10, and dinner items run $10-$20. The dinner specialties are Chicken Marsala and Veal Piccata. You can pair your entrée with a selection from their all-Italian wine list. Di Lisio is available for private parties on Sundays and they can do off-site catering for events.

Ran across this while looking for another in the Brookstone area. The service was friendly and accommodating to our requests. The Brushetta was tasty and enough for three. Our simple baked pasta was very fresh and perfectly seasoned. There were many specialty Italian dishes that I saw come out of the kitchen which seems a great reason to return.

Great food, great staff! Penn alla vodka was really good. Pasta tastes homeade, sauces were just right. Tony the owner is a really nice guy. Three thumbs up!
