“Update in progress, but very clean”

This hotel is in the midst of renovations. Since there was a shortage of housekeepers at check-in, we were upgraded to a suite at no additional charge as there were no regular rooms available on the first floor. This suite had not yet undergone renovation, but was large and clean and was ideal as we had two dogs with us. Being in Yadkinville for a 3-day horsemanship clinic, the Jacuzzi tub was a welcome sight! We had no problems with the AC or the heat. Plenty of hot water & no toilet problems. The folks at the front desk were friendly, helpful and recommended restaurants and a great barbecue place just across the street. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: If you travel with your dogs, I would recommend a room on the first floor, as some dogs get nervous...

Needed a place to stay locally due to driveway construction and decided to give this place a try. I will Never stay here again!! Chose the 'suite' because I was willing to pay extra for my daughter and mine's comfort...but it was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in! Totally outdated furniture (2 whole chairs) No 'sofabed' as promised on website, not even a sofa. TV did not have channels advertised~ could not even open the door to the bathroom without hitting someone standing beside the bed. It was dirty and poorly kept and the worst part was the Bed!! It was like laying on a brick!! There are no pillowtop mattresses in the entire hotel and the rooms that I was shown to 'change' to were no better. My advice~ Drive 20 minutes further either direction to another hotel!!!

Stayed 4 nights while attending an event in Yadkinville. No housekeeping service was available for the second nights stay; someone appeared at my door with fresh towels and told me my room would be cleaned the next day. The toilet flushing mechanism had issues, so the water ran and the toilet flushed itself at intervals all night. The room telephone's direct dial button to the front desk didn't work. The soft drink machines were all either sold out or served only Mello Yellow. At breakfast the juice machine was either broken or empty. The offerings included only mini muffins, a bagel, cereal, and cellophane wrapped Danish. And there was no elevator.

In fairness, the rates were reasonable; the room was clean (with the exception of an empty beer bottle left undiscovered under the desk for four days) the bed was comfortable, the room smelled fresh and was quiet. Desk staff was friendly.

I normally avoid Days Inn locations but had no choice as all other local motels were full. Should have kept driving. This motel is clean but worn out, air conditioner problems all night long. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was a joke. AVOID this place unless you have no other options. IF the owner wants to stay in business, he needs a remodel.

Stayed here for one night while passing through on family vacation. It was clean and very affordable and the staff, especially, the housekeeping staff, were very helpful and conscientious.

Would stay here again when passing through for a night.

Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and pet friendly. We had a snafu with the place we were supposed to stay so very lucky we were able to stay here with out two dogs.
