This was a clean, nice hotel. We had a 2-room suite with a comfortable king bed and a pull out couch which was also comfy. Great little kitchenette and a clean, well-kept bathroom. The continental breakfast area was large with lots of food.

Best part for us was the nice bar right next door, which had live music. Hotel is also very close to Target and the mall. Ideal location and reasonably priced. No complaints.

We stayed one night at the Expressway Suites because they were offering a $35 off coupon on TripAdvisor which made the rate $63/night. The coupon had no details on how to book this price, so we called and discovered that the young lady working the desk on Nov 7 had no clue, either. We took our chances and drove over to the hotel. She had never heard of the coupon or TripAdvisor and ended up making a copy of my husband's phone screen but at least she gave us the rate.

Room 103 was a handicap room with paper thin walls. It shared a common door with Room 105. The international guest staying in 105 began a teleconference with his native land at 4:45am! He was shouting so loud that I was able to stay in bed and capture a terrific audio of his entire conversation. We contacted the front desk for assistance so we could get more sleep and the young lady working at 4:45am on Nov 8 told us that there was nothing she could do but that she thought he would be checking out soon because the rest of "his people" were already in the lobby. Seriously? Give this girl both customer service and sensitivity training. I had to get dressed and bang on his door to give him the international librarian sign to shush. Idiot still continued to shout - albiet at a lower but still rude decibel level - until 5:45am (another hour) before joining "his people" in the lobby.

After this exchange, I could care less what else the hotel had to offer. Guests stay at a hotel for a good night sleep so teach your front desk clerks how to handle these situations!

By 6am, hubby and I were wide awake. W scanned the breakfast buffet offering weak coffee, canned corned beef hash, round egg things and a bunch of cheap carbs before deciding to just take off.

How the heck did this hotel get so many good reviews? I demand a recount and reconfirmation of their authenticity!

WISCGIRL,
I am very concerned about your experience at the Expressway Suites. I value your business and opinion. As per your suggestion, I have discussed these issues with the staff. The staff members that dealt with your visit have been retrained our customer service policies. I hope you will call me reguarding this stay. I appreciate your time.
Respectfully,

The desk staff were always pleasant and very helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and our bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was a great help for someone that has a hard time lifting their legs. I think all rooms come with a kichenette (countertop, half-size fridge, and a microwave). The breakfast has pasteries, fruit, yogurt, hot beverages, juice, milk, cold & hot cereal, granola, toast with various spreads, make your own waffles, cold hard boiled eggs, and 2 hot entres. The "manager's social" (light supper) would have 2 hot entres, fixings, veges with dip, and 2 beverages (alcoholic or non). The dining area was very spacious (maybe 36-50), and the overflow seated probably the same. The dining area was also stocked with various books, games, & puzzles, that you could amuse yourself with, or sit on the sofas in front of the fireplace. We did not use the pool, waterslide, hot tubs, exercise room or spa areas. We were close to the mall and other areas of interest. Highly recomend.

Room Tip: We had the king handicap with walk in shower on the main floor. The only minor complaint was that th...

We stayed two nights in September, 2012 for a wedding. The hotel is very clean, upscale and up-to-date. The breakfast buffet has a large variety of fresh items to choose from with a large dining area. They also have a small room with several computers available to use. I appreciated the signs in the elevators stating that no noise would be tolerated after 12am. My husband and I both have bad backs and we found the beds amazingly comfortable. We slept the whole night through, both nights! We heard the same from all family members who stayed there. I'd like to know what brand the beds are! I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights in June and I love the location of his hotel , close to the mall ! Very central , good reward program If the front desk remember to credit u! Breakfast was good but doesn't really get replenished the last 1/2 hour which is usually the busiest... Pool is open late which is nice , the rooms are a good size and with a coupon and a weekday stay the price was good!!

My wife and i stayed two nights at the Fargo Expressway Suites late June, 2012. Our first impression was that this hotel was very nice and clean and that really rang true for the whole time we were there. Our room (217) was large but looked out onto the wall of the adjoining hotel unit so it was dark most of the time, In other words, NO view! The wide screen TV was on a fixed wall unit but it was situated between the bed and the sofa so no matter where you sat you didn't get a clear view of the screen so we moved the sofa on the diagonal only to find candy wrappers plus several bags of candy behind it. Other than that the room was great.
This hotel has one fantastic complimentary breakfast each morning with cereal, waffles, bagels, small muffins, eggs, fresh fruit, coffee with several different flavoured creamers, juices, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and two flavours of waffles, plain and strawberry. What a great way to start the day!
The hotel hosts a light meal (soup, chips, salsa, beer, wine, crackers, dips, vegetables) between 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm Monday to Thursday. It's a nice touch when you arrive after a long trip and have this waiting for you so you don't have to worry about finding a restaurant nearby.
This hotel is within walking distance of West Acres Mall (7-10 minute walk) and there's several great restaurants nearby. There is a business centre to use computers if you need them, but free Wi-Fi is offered in each room. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. The staff was friendly and helpful on check in, check out, and the waiting staff at the light supper and breakfast were friendly and willing to chat when they had the time. A very nice experience, overall.

Room Tip: Any rooms on the second floor, odd numbered around 217 will look out on the peaked roof of an adjoin...
