Our family loved the Wolf enclosure and viewing area, the river otter pool, and the goats. It's not a huge zoo, but it seemed to be well cared for. with friendly staff.

My wife an I visited the Red River Zoo in the morning right after opening at 10am. July's in Fargo are quite warm, so heading over at opening gives you a better chance at seeing more animals, being more active. Made it through in under an hour and as members, we got in at no additional cost! The biggest hidden gem in Fargo-Moorhead.

Have been many times. Always something new. Weekends only in the winter. The smaller walking area is nice for young children

The Zoo has wonderful indoor and outdoor exhibits. We always enjoy spending a few hours at the zoo. The zoo also has special activities/days for something special. My son, who is 10 years old, enjoys going to these activities or just spending the afternoon at the zoo.
We love to watch when the animals or fed, and even buying food to feed the animals ourselves.
Great outing!
