“OK in a pinch”

The hotel is trying which I have to give them credit for. Very bare bones. Hardly any towels, pillows etc. Bed was comfortable, pillows leave a lot to be desired and the towels, some were new, some threadbare. I wore my socks and after walking around in the room the bottom of my socks were very dirty. Also if you want to sleep, be prepared for a lot of noise. There is no breakfast here but they do have coffee in the lobby. I have stayed here a few times but usually only when I am trying to save money. There are a lot better hotels in Fargo.

Room Tip: If you have a little extra money look elsewhere.

Stopped there for the night traveling with 2 pets room was average king size bed for same price as 2 full size. Quiet even though truck stop next door didn't hear them. Pet friendly as well no extra fees or deposits. Overall good value for a place to sleep and eat for the night. Military discount as well. No coffee in rooms or continental breakfast, coffee in the lobby but that didn't bother us.

Have been in better places. Very dirty, huge establishment with lots and lots of people everywhere. Not very cheap though. Location wise good. The blankets are too thin to feel comfortable. Avoid if you have better deals.

This was my first experience at a Motel 6. We stayed here because it was a good stopping point on our way to Montana. It is a good deal if you arrive late in the evening and leave first thing in the morning. Definitely not a place to relax. The room is clean and everything is very average. Know that they only provide a bar of soap - no shampoo, etc., not even a hair dryer. We were on the first floor and heard every movement in the room above us. Next time, if there is a next time, we will try to get a room on the top floor.

What a deal! The whole place has clearly been renovated really recently - the hallways still smelled like paint when we were there. My top favorite thing: No carpet in the room! It's some kind of laminate flooring, which is so great for allergy sufferers and general cleanliness. The sink/vanity was outside the bathroom, which is convenient for multiple people getting ready in the mornings.

While we were waiting to check in, we saw a few different disappointed hopeful guests - the place was booked solid (glad we had a reservation!) and no wonder! A clean nice room for a very low price.

Negative: The outer door nearest our room was kinda broken and didn't latch itself, so if the person going in or out didn't pull it shut it was just open to the public. The room door was sturdy so we weren't too afraid, but it is a safety concern nonetheless. The desk clerk was receptive when we mentioned it, hopefully it's fixed now.

We stayed at the Motel 6, Fargo South for one night en-route from Chicago to Canada. We were a bit apprehensive when we saw it was located next to the Flying J truck stop, but surprisingly there was very little noise. In fact we ended up getting some nice food from Flying J and eating it in our room.
This Motel 6 had only recently been refurbished from its previous life and was being painted while we were there. This, however did not cause us any inconvenience and we were impressed by the overall standard of the hotel and our spacious 2 double bed room. You don't expect frills at Motel 6, but our bedroom was clean and pleasantly decorated. Staff were courteous and very helpful.
We would certainly stay here again and - for us - the close proximity of the Flying J truck stop turned out to be a bonus.

This used to be Flying J motel, now listed as owned by Bosselman
http://www.bosselman.com/lodging/motel6.html

Now much has changed, I had stayed here a few times when it was a ‘J. They put in a new front desk and painted the building, that’s about it. It was your basic motel and still is.

Ended up staying two nights within a week, no issues either time. Covers the basics, clean and quiet. I was surprised how quiet it was considering it is next to a truckstop, didn’t hear the trucks (or the neighbors) either time.

The bar/casino at Flying J is still open, the restaurant is closed. Love’s has a Subway and McDonalds across the street. Across the freeway is Country Kitchen, thought I was going to walk to it but wasn’t sure were it was, now I know.

It is now your basic Motel 6, (but they must not have switched the beds yet, because I can sleep good on these.)
