Rooms were clean and larger than we expected considering the price we paid. The new flat screen tvs, mini fridge and microwave was a nice bonus. Beds were comfortable and had an extra mattress pad to give a pillow top feel. Check in was a breeze and staff were friendly. Pool was open till midnight though we did not go in. breakfast was larger than most with boiled eggs, warm biscuits, waffles, yogurt, cereal and more.

We will be back here on our next trip to Fargo.

We stayed at Econo Lodge West our last visit, but because of recent bad reviews of that hotel, we decided to stay here. I wished we had stayed at the Econo Lodge West.

The pool was not open, and I don't think it is ever open. I should have paid attention to the reviews that said that. They kept promising it would be "open any minute" but it never was our entire stay. They said they share a pool guy with the hotel next door, but I never saw any attempts to get the pool open. We had just driven 12 hrs and we really need a pool for the kids. So we took them to Walmart to run around.

The hotel is near a lot of amenities. The rooms are outdated, but clean. Service was good. Good value. Basic breakfast.

Business trip to area had us looking for an affordable hotel. This hotel was very plain with few amenities but clean and priced right with a comfortable bed. We had 2 groups and 2 rooms. One of the rooms was missing a few items and after a call to the front desk they were brought right up. This is a low price point hotel and was worth its value. Complimentary breakfast was OK. Overall, will stay here again if looking for a great bargain.

While traveling home from Christmas vacation we ended up making an unexpected overnight because our daughter got sick. It was late and we were looking for a quick check in so we could get settled & put her to bed. I made the mistake of asking if the room was non-smoking and the desk attendant proceded to give me a 15 minute lecture on how Fargo has manditory non-smoking lodging and dining establishments and how it "is the stupidest thing ever because business had to waste thousands of dollars updating all of the smoking units to become frickin non-smoking units" and how "the city promoting not smoking is terrible for the economy because the gov gets tons of tax dollars from cigarette sales". I attempted to nicely move the conversation back to the task at hand to speed up the reservation process but he just wouldn't quit. Not only was it completly unprofessional but it was very uncomfortable. Had it not been for our sick kiddo waiting in the car with daddy I would have walked right out! In addition, all of the staff wear street clothes (some of which I would consider to not be work appropriate). Management should invest in uniforms and some customer service training for their staff! In addition, the property is quite worn down. All carpeting is stained & should be replaced and the bathrooms were terrible. The only positive was the beds, surprisingly they were very comfortable, regardless we will not be returning nor would I recommend to anyone.

Have stayed at this property a few times for business travel. They had just installed the new lock system which shows to me they are concerned about guests safety....also have added new 32" Flat screen wall mounted T.V's. Recieved a nice upgrade to a King size just by asking.. Recieved a good price on Chioce hotels website where they say they beat all advertised prices. Only drawback on this trip was breakfast area was completely full of people but not with breakfast offerings as it was hard to satisfy the demand..Will repeat in future. Checked in with Shannon and he remembered me from past stays which is nice.

Room Tip: I usually request end room, higher floor for quiet.

While the proprietor tried hard to provide a nice experience, it was not the quality we have come to expect at Quality Inns. The bed was not as comfortable as others, and the breakfast was adequate, and the coffee was lukewarm... They did provide WSJs, but ...
