This is a very special resort and location - which has opened in the last 12 months. The facilities are well set out and brand new - the place is spotless. It has a great feel and it's a place to do nothing or lots. Dining is excellent - they run a meal plan arrangement and menu is 'international': good balance of local seafood and it would be good to have some more local dishes added to the menu. The staff are fantastic - most of the resort staff are from the local village so the experience is very Fijian authentic. Good set of activities and boast trips are not too crowded. There is a PADI dive operation on site - so if you are thinking of learning, plan and email ahead so you are ready to go as this is an excellent location to learn. The biggest plus is the location: pristine water, reef, any tide swimming out the front and good sand beach. The resort's boat is 1.5 hours to the mainland and the Yasawa Flyer (3 hours) makes two stops a day at the resort.

Room Tip: Splurg - stay in the beach houses on VT across the channel.

Any parent travelling with a toddler knows it can be just hard work and you head on holidays to have a break. The staff were very welcoming of our daughter and made sure they took her order for food before ours so that she didn't have to wait too long. They have a children's dinner service so they can eat earlier, it was implied that you would then get a babysitter for evening dinner, which we appreciated doing after we got into the groove. We also discovered that although our daughter wasn't of Kids Club age she was able to go with a babysitter. It's a place where there's a mix of do nothing or do something with daily activities organised. I enjoyed doing the craft and doing on free boat snorkel trips. Although the resort was 'full' there were times I was wondering where everyone was, so it didn't feel crowded. As mentioned the food is excellent, our spacious two bedroom garden villa was kept clean and we appreciated the complimentary mini bar. We left pondering when we'd make a trip back.

I did a lot of research before selecting this resort to stay in and am very happy Tripadvisor did not lead me astray. We took the boat to the resort. There was only one brief stop at Octopus resort before taking us to Paradise Cove. It is a nice option that this resort has their own boat, which can save time. We were greeted with a welcome drink by Tim, the general manager. Because of availability, we had booked one type of room for one night and the 2 bedroom garden suite for 2 nights. When we got there they upgraded us to the 2 bedroom suite for all 3 nights. The garden suite was amazing - way too big for us but didn't mind. Loved the outdoor showers and the luxurious feel to the room. We were near the main resort, which was perfect for us.

The food is really good here! Different menu options and lunch specials everyday.

Most of the activities are free. I did the village/school tour, snorkeling, cooking class, yoga class and used the stand up paddle boards and kayaks several times.

The resort never felt too busy and everyone is really friendly.

The only downside was that we paid for the "manta ray snorkel" twice and did not see any manta rays. I can't blame this on anything as this is just mother nature. They still brought us snorkeling in another destination which was great.

We paid for the sea plane transfer back and our flight left around 2 p.m. This was a beautiful way to see the islands from above.

I would highly recommend this place. I hope to come back again another time!

My girlfriend and I have just returned from an amazing holiday at Paradise Cove, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

As soon as you arrive you know you are going to have one of the best holidays of your life.

The food is by far the best we have had in three months of travelling the world and the staff are the friendliest people we have ever met!

The island itself certainly lives up to the resorts name - this truly is paradise.

Our only concern is that they are looking to expand the resort which we think may reduce it's charm.. But we hope we will be proved wrong.

See you next year (hopefully!)

Thanks again
Chris and Ciara

I loved this resort and didn't want to leave. The beach was gorgeous and there are complimentary lounge chairs and umbrellas people can use. The pool area was also well maintained and beautiful.

This resort offers many complimentary activities. I enjoyed paddle boarding and snorkeling. A boat took us out so that we could snorkel outside the resort. The snorkeling was great! There was a lot of colorful coral and plenty of fish.

Our room was clean & spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was neat and had a unique shower. There is also complimentary wifi!

The food was amazing! You get many choices to choose from on their menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The eggs, prawns, and mackerel are delicious!

The staff was very friendly and polite and seemed to enjoy living there and their jobs which made our stay very pleasant.

I highly recommend this resort to anyone staying in Fiji.

Really glad we decided to stay here, a very private, quiet and tranquil place. We booked standard accommodation not beachfront which was fine. Accommodation itself was good, comfortable bed nice shower and bathroom, free wifi.

All actives are well organised and with good equipment, we enjoyed the snorkelling and village visit, beautiful beach, good bar and swimming pool.

Our main regret was that we only stayed for three days which didn't give us time to do the walks and other more time consuming activities, which we really wanted to do as they looked very interesting and worthwhile. If planning to come here we would recommend at least a week to do everything.

Food was not bad, please note however that the quality of food here was FAR better than all other resorts and restaurants that we visited throughout Fiji. So by Fijian standards excellent.

We don't have children, the resort is child friendly, which we were a little concerned about but kids were kept entertained by the beautifully warm Fijian staff. All kids there (there weren't many maybe 5-7 children) were extremely happy and active which was lovely to see. So if travelling with young children would recommend here and for those without don't worry about it.

Overall, great value for money resort, everything is new and kept in excellent condition. Good facilities and activities. We are planning to come back one day!

Room Tip: We didn't feel that we missed out on anything significant by not booking the beachfront villas.
