“WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 December 2012

We stay there over Thanksgiving, someone by the name of SHANNON (I believe a cleaning staff), even wrote us a very nice thank you note, the day after Thanksgiving. The breakfast is so big, they have scrambled eggs every day, either bacon or sausage, biscuits, one day they even has both bacon & sausage. You can make your own waffle, muffins (you need blue berry muffins though!) cold cereal, hot oatmeal, & many many more items on there breakfast buffet.
So when you look at the price of the hotel, remember the HOT breakfast that's included.
All the staff are very very friendly. About the 3rd day we were there, the heater quit working in our room, we couldn't even turn it off, we were getting air conditioning. They moved us to another room, right next to our room.
The have a pool & hot tub, but we were so busy, we didn't have time to use it, but it looks great. Also an exercise room.
Quiet, wonderful pillows, comfortable bed, & the room looks elegant. Slept well.

Room Tip: our rooms have always faced the parking lot, & they have always been quite.

After traveling for 24 hours , we were most happy to arrive. Staff greeted us and made us feel welcome. Room was obtained very last minute on Hotwire. Hotel is contemporary in design. Although we had a first floor room near the Expressway, the noise did not bother us. Bed is very comfortable with lots of pillows. Love the fact that the black out drapes draw entirely across the windows rather than meeting at the center, thus preventing that crack of light that often happens with center drawn blackouts. Handy to have both frig and micro in room. Hot Tub was very hot with a fairly strong chlorine smell. Breakfast was plentiful and included waffles with two types of real fruit sauce. 24 hour coffee in lobby is nice. Morning desk staff was very helpful. Used the business center to print some shopping coupons and all worked well. Overall a great stay and would return.

Nice clean, nearly new motel. Had a good nights sleep on the comfy bed. It was a nice quiet hotel. Also had a very good continental breakfast. Will definately stay there the next time we are in town for business.

Booked this hotel through Hotwire as I am not familiar with hotels available in Grand Forks. This is a fairly new hotel and is well-located. The decor was attractive, spotlessly clean, and the room was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast offering was substantial. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. This is a new hotel (not quite open a year) and is in great shape. I was warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. They were very helpful in finding restaurants to go to as well as recommending ones that delivered. The location was good, about a mile from shopping and dining and literally next door to the Alerus Center.
My room was comfortable, bright and clean. As one would expect from a new hotel, everything in the room was in working order.
The breakfast area was clean and well stocked with all the usual hot and cold items, including a crock of hot oatmeal. There was coffee, hot tea and cocoa available all day, as well as evening cookies.
Overall a really good stay, and I would very definitely stay here again or recommend this hotel!

4 of us ladies stayed here for 1 night on our way to Minneapolis from Canada after booking online. We got a very good price and was pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. It is new, the beds are great, bathroom was nice and the shower was great. The walls are thin, and you could hear coughing next door. No fan in the bathroom, and traffic noise is a bit loud. Breakfast was great with a great selection of food, but the is only one door going into the htl, so I can see getting a cold blast from people entering and leaving the hotel on cold days. We're Canadians, and got a warm reception. The gym and pool looked nice, but we didn't use it. Everyone I was with said they would stay again. The coffee maker was a single cup in the room however.

I booked through Hotwire and got a great rate! Close to Alerus Center and less than 5 minute drive to shopping/dining. Yummy warm cookies at check in and breakfast was decent. Pool area and pool was small but we didnt use it anyway. Took the kids next door and they went to the warerpark for $12 each. (Sleep Inn discount). Would stay here again.
