I had booked our reservatons in advance (arrived Aug 5), knowing that check-in times are 3:00, we thought after about 1:30 we would check to see if the room would be ready (as occassionally they had been). This time - we were told not until 3:00. When we returned at 3:00, we were told the room still wasn't ready to come back at 3:30, we returned and still nothing, come back at 4:00. We were unable to get into our room until 4:30. Apparently they were short on housekeeping staff. Well that's all fine and good, but my feelings are that when a customer pre-books, their room should be ready for them at check-in (3:00) in my opinion. Very unhappy, especially after travelling on the road for sometime then having to waste time before being able to get into our room to relax. Not pleased at all. The room itself is very nice, the buffet breakfast was fine, and the evening snacks is a nice offering.

Room Tip: We always choose the courtyard rooms as we like the fact that you can sit out at the patio tables an...

We have stayed at the C'mon Inn at least 3 times in the past and for the most part it's a decent place and the price is right. We stayed on the night of Aug 28, the evening snacks were a nice touch. :) We brought a beverage down with us and relaxed after a long day of shopping. Our room was clean, but we thought it was starting to show it's age, beds and pillows are comfy enough. Unlike reviewer "Travelbounce" we found our room too warm, can't please everybody.
Only complaint really was the breakfast on the 29th; the only hot items were waffels and a type of tator-tot. When we came down one of the waffel batter server's was empty, but we were able to prepare our waffels no problem but the other one became plugged soom after. It seemed to be a while before anybody came to check on the area.
We stayed at a different hotel the night before in Fargo and found that their breakfast was so much better, a couple of hot choices and the coffee was fantastic.

Stayed 2 nights on August long. The beds were soft and the rooms were freezing. Even turning off the AC didn't help - only piling pillows on the registers warmed the room marginally. When we asked for a blanket, they weren't sure if they had anymore since quite a few people had already asked for them .... ?? What hotel doesn't have blankets?? Never did get one.
This is a family hotel. If you enjoy parents that let their children run rampant up and down the hall all hours of the day and night, this is the place for you! Parents who let their children swim unsupervised in a pool should be charged - do you not care? The hot tubs could have been nice, but were so chlorinated that our eyes were burning in our ROOM! Put a pass on this place unless you have kids you want to leave alone to their own devices - for that the place is perfect since no one on staff cares about the noise or if your children drown.

I stayed 1 night at the C'mon Inn in Grand Forks and thought it was a great hotel. Everything from the rooms to the breakfast was fantastic. I had left an article of clothing in the room after checking out and didn't realize it until I got home. I called the hotel and the staff were so very friendly and so accomodating. They found my article of clothing and shipped it back to me very quickly. The service from the staff alone would make me choose to stay at this hotel again. Great experience!!!!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel, and we always love it.
We had a courtyard room, and it was very nice. Rooms are spacious, table outside your room, good breakfast, and clean. Even had a keurig coffee maker in the room. Beds are comfortable.
The pool area is nice, the kids had a great time. Lots of hot tubs.
We also used the conference room for a shower, and it was a nice room. Carpet was a little stained, but that was the only complaint.

My sister in law, my wife and myself went to grand Forks to shop and booked this hotel. Excellent breakfast to start the day, rooms exceptionally clean, all the ammenities were there. Very nice pool, and soaking in one of their hot tubs after a long day of shopping was a treat. I can't say enough about the staff, always there to answer a question.

Room Tip: Book the two queen room if you are with family, otherwise take the king.

Of all the hotels we have stayed in, the C'mon Inn in Grand Forks is at the top of our list. A few of our favorite things are the extremely comfortable beds and pillows, clean rooms, modern updated technology, and wonderfully helpful staff. The breakfast is quite nice with many offerings and variety such as fresh pancakes and waffles, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausages, fresh fruits, pastries and breads, coffee, capuccino, tea, juices, and both hot and cold cereal choices. They also serve a small complimentary food buffet in the evening from 5 until 7 PM which included chicken strips, shrimp poppers, potato puffs, and chicken noodle soup. They also served complimentary beverages. We love the many hot tubs and beautiful common area between rooms. We were having intermitant internet service in the room in which we stayed, and the staff offered a new room where the signal was stronger, even though we had already unpacked and used the room we were in. The staff is very friendly, and it is evident that their desire is to provide the best possible service. I would highly recommend this hotel.
