Overall, excellent value when you stay in Grand Forks. It's not a new hotel but they offer good amenities - heated pool, in-door golf, sauna, full service restaurant and lounge - at reasonable prices. Close to downtone and all other attractions such as Columbia Mall, UND, Altru hospital, etc. Service was OK, a bit on the slow side as they were busy with a group of travellers.
Large, clean rooms and fast internet. Happy with my stay; will be back again.

Room Tip: stay away from pool rooms. they are a bit noisy.

When staying at the guest house we had a poolside room it was very noise the pool was supposed to close at 11 but instead they allowed young adult to stay till midnight marking lots of noise I went to the front desk to ask when they were going 2 kick them out they said soon it took till after midnight for this to happen. Also in the morning we received the receipt under the room door they had billed our credit card for our night stay all other hotels wait till you checkout before charging you for the room. I had wanted to pay cash. Otherwise it was a very nice hotel

A bit outdated hotel but staff was nice and it was clean. We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay close to the night life on a Saturday night, and we were not disappointed. It's located downtown a short walking distance from different pubs and bars. Being drunk we even made it back no problem.

Our room was right by the pool which is out in the open located a few steps from the lobby, and not loud at all. Very convenient if you like swimming.

I will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: If you're traveling with kids make sure you book the room the pool. Easy access to the pool thr...

Thank you for taking the time to reply to Trip Advisor. As you mentioned, our location in historic downtown Grand Forks, can be a lot of fun. We are near entertainment and several restaurants. And, if you want to get away during the winter months, there is no need to even go out. You can stay in and make use of the pool, sauna, mini-golf and Muddy Rivers Bar and Grill. -Annette

Ok, so place needs major renovations. Little things like some bright colored multi colored paints on the put put walls. Green on green looks too dull. Change out light bulbs to cfl, or LEDs to save energy. Middle rooms facing pool area do not have separate ac compressors for each room. Rooms get very humid. Our exhaust fan overhead in bathroom didn't work. Made it even more humid. Kinda noisy by pool too, w bar patrons. Could be a fantastic place w some fresh paint, and new furnishings. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at this hotel before and it was ok, this time I was not impressed at all. I went at 3:15pm to check in and they told me the room wasn't ready yet so I had to wait til 4:45 to check in. I ended up getting a pool side room which was very musty smelling and very noisy. I sat on the bed and when I sat back and touches the headboard it was full of dust. So much for a clean room, I think the cleaning staff need to be taught how to clean a room
properly. The bathroom faucet has pieces of the silver missing from it (needs replacing)
This hotel is okay if you want a
budget friendly family hotel but for anyone wanting a quiet relaxing hotel this would only be good if you has an outside room. I even took pictures of the dust I'm case they didn't believe me but all I for was a sorry from the guy that worked the night I checked in

Good budget hotel with excellent service. It was recommended to me by my uncle. I was travelling on a business trip visiting Fargo and Grand Forks and needed a clean budget hotel. Townhouse was a prefect fit. It's not a new place but it is clean and well maintained. Rooms are nice with enough room to move around, 39" flat screen TVs, small fridge and good furniture. Beds are just the way I like them, not too soft and not too hard. The shower curtains was a bit old and needed to be replaced.

I enjoyed swimming in the large pool and used a sauna twice. The sauna could use some updating but works OK.

The hotel is located in down-town Grand Forks. When you get off hwy 29, take exit 140 and go east towards down-town. I took the wrong turn and it took me a while to find it.

Every single employee I dealt with was friendly and helpful with the exception of one guy whose name I will not mention here. He probably has a "bad hair" day. The hotel has a restaurant and bar where I played a game of pool with my companion. We never had a chance to eat in the restaurant. It was too crowded on Saturday night.

At less than $70 it was a good deal for a full service hotel.

Sorry about my mistakes. English is not my first language.

Ira

Room Tip: Take a room away from the pool. It's much quieter.
