We usually use another chain hotel but booked this hotel through HotWire Secret Hot deals. We were quite impressed - quiet, large room with fridge and microwave, good breakfast with scrambled eggs and waffles, free internet, parking and breakfast. There was a pool available. This was really an incredible value with the total with tax coming to $74.00.

Came in at 1 in the morning while driving across the state, and they gave us a room with a Murphy bed and a pull out. First off the room was hideous with flourescent lights on the ceiling and stained chairs that looked as if they belonged in a 1971 inner city day care. Even worse, pulling out the bed from the couch revealed an 8000 year old contact lense worn by Hiawatha, and duty shmeres galore. We then walked through the intensely odious hallway to a new room, which smelled like a sweaty car wash mixed with stale Al Capone era cigerettes. In the new room, the ceiling was peeling like John McCain's skin, and the pullout for the kids was about as spacious as a coffin. We spent the night laughing at how disgusting this place really was

Checked in and asked for a upgrade but was told I could not because it was a prepaid. I guess I was ok with that explanation. Their was no plastic bag in the ice container or one of the Waste containers.
Breakfast was ok ran short of food but it was quickly replaced. The beds are not comfortable but was able to sleep after a while. Check out was smooth, The only large complaint would be the staff taking a smoke break just outside the main entrance when their is a sign posted that says no smoking within 20 Feet of door

Room Tip: get a room on second floor then you will not hear those above you walking around

We over nighted here as a rest stop. Hotel is located close to a shopping area, movie theater, restaurants ann the main highway. The staff was helpful and friend. A mixup with the booking was quickly corrected, no problem at all. I will stay here again.

I always like Comfort Inn's. They're are always clean with nice beds. My only complaints are many of them don't have a guest laundry room and this one was no exception.

But you can't hold that against them when a blizzard hits and I-94 is closed.

It's also nice to have a restaurant attached to your motel and if you like McD it's right beside the motel.

We had an unfortunate fire in a trailer we were towing, detected in the parking lot after we pulled in to the hotel. The staff took it right in stride, calling fire department and getting all the cars moved-it was 1030 pm. Fire put it out, and left all our damaged gear strewn around the lot. The hotel helped us get it cleaned up and acted like it happened every day. (I hope not). The rooms were sooo nice after that experience. Didn't hear a thing outside, and pets were easily accomodated. Twyla and Ahmed were on the desk thru this- thank you!

Have stayed here 3 times in the last 1.5 years or so. The first time I did not like it much, however I really do not recall why. The 2 more recent times (one was just last week) I found it to be clean and comfortable. I also stayed at the Holiday Inn Express next door a couple of years ago. That was nicer than this, but also cost quite a bit more.

To get to the point, This is clean, comfortable, and no frills. If you want to spend the money, go to the HIE next door. If you dont want to spend the money, I would have no hesitation telling someone to stay here.
