New rooms (superior) are ideal for rest with children. They are big enough, with accurate balcony and nice bathroom. Tea-making set is also in the room. The sea and the beach is five minutes walk from the hotel. All the entertainments are also near the hotel. Food was ok, a lot of fruits all the time, but there was nothing for kids under 2 years old. Albena is a good place for the rest with little children.

New rooms ( available from summer 2013) are ideal for rest with children. They are big enough, with accurate balcony and nice bathroom. For kid there is little couch in the room. Tea-making set is also in the room.
The sea and the beach is two minutes walk from the hotel.
All the entertainments are also near the hotel.
Food was ok, a lot of fruits all the time, but there was nothing for kids under 2 years old.
Albena is a good place for the rest with little children.
The only disadvantage was the necessity to solve some questions with manager of the hotel. She is not ready to deal with simple questions, like request of another sheet.

The furniture is old, the wardrobe is smelling and you can not use it. There is a TV set and air con. As a whole the room is not enough spacious for a family with a child. There is not a daily change of the towels in the bathroom, as for shampoo and shower gel.
The food in the restaurant is various, but the service is very bad and noisy.
The hotel is near to the beach.

Holidayed in Albena for a short weekend break in mid August. A most welcoming hotel staff and atmosphere. Trust the manager Ms P. Boeva and her team to treat you to a cloud nine ambience in a hotel which completely deserves its aviation-inspired name. Don’t savour all its delights – leave some for your next visit. For a superior chill-out choose a superior-rated room. Enjoy!

stayed 3rd of aug to the 10th, weather hot and humid the beach was clean and tidy. The sea is like pea soup with sea weed when entering it.Life guard stations were well manned and always quick to respond to changes of conditions.
Hotel was a disappointment with small rooms which were quite shabby.maid service was of poor quality but clean towels were provided daily.
Reception area was of a high standard with bar staff very helpful especially a young lady named Petya.
The restaurant was not to our usual standard, with luke warm food, and gannets for customers, pushing in a grabbing piles of food. Half board does not include a drink of any description with your meal.
We made the most of our stay and enjoyed the week but will e return NO.

We booked this holiday as a week away in some sun with my family..
The weather was great , if anything to hot..
The beach is cleanish but you are one of many rows of sun beds and goes about 10 deep from the sea. You need to be down the beach very early to get near the sea( which is like pea soup with all the sea weed you have to wade through and is very smelly..so wash your swim stuff out well.)
British tourists are the minority in the resort as there is large Russian and Romanian presence.
The hotel has a very and has a good reception and bar area, the young lady (Petya) behind the bar is great and lots of fun, the beer is not bad price about £1.50 a pint.
We were welcomed with glass of champagne while we checked in.
The rooms are very small and as a family I found it hard to find some where for everything including the cases.the beds are hard, and the toilet smelled all the time. We did have clean towels every day and the beds where always made.
We stayed half board but wished we had not...the breakfast was ok with the normal mix of hot(well warm ) and cold food but the evening meal was a nightmare!! We all used to joke that it was like running the gauntlet .....there was lots of Eastern Europeans who were pushing and shoving and always so rude they were taking plates full of food then putting it in bags to take away or just leaving it....children were riding bikes and running around everywhere , the food was always cold if you got something hot it was amazing...people would finger the food then put it back...
We did eat out and had a great HOT meal at the garden place which was £70 for 5 adults and 2 children with drinks.

There are lots of ways for the locals to get your money and its all aimed at the children for people coming down the beach twice a day trying to take pictures, popcorn stands, ice cream stalls, paint a pot, hand waxing, hair braiding, henna tattoos and lots of toys...

I will not be going back here even if it was a free holiday.

Room Tip: Don't go.
