September was my first time for relax this year and I yearned for it. I have stayed 1 day in Gergana hotel earler this year and wanted to be back. We booked Mura (there are 3 hotels in a complex - Gergana, Mura, Slavuna) for the better price and practically using the same amenities.

We loved so much our stay in Mura and found no significant difference with Gergana. We had an apartment with a fantastic view to the see and the forest on the left side. The best room i could imagine in a beach hotel.
What i liked:
- the hotel is right on the sand. There is noting between you and the see. Clean, calm warm see and white gentle sand.
- reception - veery nice and friendly staff. doing extra efforts whenever they could.
- animation - my 3 year old kid was busy all the day leaving my time free. They are also very responsible and will take care for every kid, not only play games. There is sports program for the adults also - my husband loved the beach volleyball.
- food - if you are like me and always go at the last moment for a meal, don't worry, there is still plenty in the restaurant :) The food was greatly delicious and very abundant. There is also fresh from apples all the time. You can eat practically the whole day. After breakfast close in the restaurant, the snack bar opens, then the luch, then the pizza bar, then the dinner, than you start thinking for joining the step gymnastics.
- the bars - both alcohol and juices drinks are included in the all inclusive package and there are several bars to use.

In summary, great vacation and we will surely be back

A very good holiday and its rare for us to say we will book again at a resort, but we will this one.We have a 3 year old and there was plenty to keep him amused while we relaxed. The food was varied and plenty for everyone.3 pools one of which was an indoor pool.Lots of sunbeds both at the pool areas and on the beach.Everything was within walking distance even for our boy.

Room Tip: The room was dated but with everything that was required

We have been here for 8 days with an all inclusive package. The position of the hotel is super. It has an own restaurant, 2 pools outside and one with warm water inside. But we had access to hotel Gergana's pool (outside). The food is varied but not best. It was eatable :) and even our child of 1 year old has eaten there. We are all healthy after this holiday :). The beverage it was not good except the wine from lunch and dinner. The restaurant personal was not nice but not that bad. The rooms are large and clean. But in the rest it was great. Have a very nice holiday!

Room Tip: The rooms from the wood are very chilly and this is a very good thing in warm summer days. We did n...

2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 July 2011

We have been in Albena from the 15th of July until the 22nd on July. Two families, 4 children between 7 month and 13 yo. I will try to make it as objective as I can taking into account that we didn't enjoy our staying there at all.
The place:
- families mostly, Romanians, Bulgarians, some French, German and a couple families of Hungarians.
- a great deal of things to do, for kids, but quite expensive
- quite secure, I have seen the police quite active
- interesting souvenirs, fair prices
- a big reservation nearby, good for walk, take care of the rules
- Balchik nearby, an interestin castle to visit. You also might visit a supermarket while in there, prices are way better
Arriving
- very difficult to get a parking place. The beach is used both by the guests and the locals so it is quite an adventure to get a parking place
- at the reception, be friendly with them, tip and they will take good care of you. But be careful of what they put on your bill. You might pay extra if you do not pay attention (they wanted me to pay the parking 2 times)
- WiFi not open, but afordable
Rooms
- fair, even large enough
- clean
- tip the maid and you will be very satisfied
- minibar to be payed (normally for a 3 stars)
- sleeping quite difficult as the walls are very thin and they do not respect any quite programm (6 am noise; 2 pm noise)
Restaurant
- food almost the same every day, but fair variety
- you MUST respect the timetable otherwise you will be invited out
- don't fill your bottels with water, it is FORBIDEN (and they do love to remind you)
- take care with the sweets (my daughter throw out 2 times)
- good cheese, good yoghourt
- good grill, but you must wait quite a lot to get some
Beach
- rented, not their own
- every room has 2 chairs and an umbrella; for extra you have to pay
- no mattres, they cost 3 leva each / day
- little plastic table cost 1 leva/ day
- it is FORBIDEN to reserve, but everyone does it
- do not occupy reserved umbrellas, it might finish with a fight
- no beach bar, you must take what you need from the bar near the pool (opened only at 10 o'clock). You are FORBIDEN to go to the restaurant from the beach unless you are proper dressed (tuxedo, I presume)
- lots of algae in the water, but they clean every evening. Sometimes water is green
Overall, a fair Resort, not at all the finest. The conditions Ok, but very poor service and a redneck personnel.

Room Tip: Give 5 to 10 leva at the reception. You'll have better rooms
