My boyfriend and I stayed here in June this year, we booked through Thomson as the accommodation looked clean and rather spacious for a great price. When we arrived we were appointed to palazzo 1 which is the party side, music was banging loud and people roaring at 2 in the morning even though it states in the hotel rules that you will be fined if you make loud noise after 12 which doesn't make sense??! Had a few sleepless night with people banging doors at 5am roaring which was really disturbing! There is also too many people round the pool through the day and we went to the beach most days because of this! Security guards made me feel extremely uncomfortable aswell, as all they did was stand round and watch everyone at the poolside! Also on our last day we needed our flight details and the hotel receptionist had taken them on the night we arrived, when I asked reception (which was the same receptionist who had taken our details) about this they couldn't find it and looked completely puzzled as if they had thrown them out!! Luckily after an hour they had been found!! Rooms are clean and nice, hole in the bathroom wall!! Not a lot of room on the balcony we were given! If we were going to sunny beach we would give the palazzo a miss next time as it is also a ten minute taxi run from the centre which cost us 20 Lev each time! Apart from our stay here the actual centre of sunny beach is really good fun with plenty to do!

Well, first I shall start of by saying, if you are young this is your hotel, if you're a family, it definitely isn't! We booked through Thomson, which i recommend you do because you get a great package. We stayed for 2 weeks and there was 5 of us, 2 girls, 3 guys. To answer some questions I asked myself before coming here from reviews, the rooms are nice and clean, you only get fine if you are being stupid none of us got fined and we were loud so don't worry just don't be a stupid. However DO NOT SIT ON A SUNBED IF OVER 16 STONE, if you break it you pay 150, even if accident, this was the only problem we had. Buy the rep package it's worth your money and you won't regret it, the reps are awesome, shout out to Sophie, Ollie and Gemma :). The events boat party, paint party etc are awesome and i do not regret buying the package because you went out with loads of people and it was a great atmosphere :). DO NOT GO ALL INCLUSIVE the food was horrible and basically iceland quality, probably worse tbf, but don't worry there's loads of restaurants in the strip. If you are going to a restaurant however, don't order starters because most Bulgarian restaurants don't actually understand that a starter is separate from main and they are not meant to be bought out at the same time -_-, only 4 restaurants we went to acc didn't do this and only because they were Amercian diners etc. Nightlife is awesome, and everyone is really dead on in nightclubs! It's not as cheap as you think, everyone makes it out cheaper than it is.
If I were you i'd stay here for a week, 2 is to long for this hotel, most of the staff are nice, bar one woman who is so nasty and should be taught how to speak to people without being rude and unreasonable!

Just back from this hotel today never write reviews but have to this time arrived on last Monday at 12 midnight to be greeted by the most rudest receptionist who didn't want to be there we got our key to our room got to the room and was a studio apartment which was wrong so went back down and asked for a one bed apartment was told none left so we had to spend the night in the studio next morning went back down and still no one bed available but as compromise they offered us 50% discount on drinks so was happy wit that that on check out asked receptionist if there was a room to get showered in later that day as we were being picked at 11pm and again the most rudist person ever turned round and said were are a 3star not a 5star hotel once again not one to moan or write stuff on this but seriously who ever owns the hotel would really want to consider geting new people in to run the reception really would piss u off the attitude they had towards guests and talking to other people they felt the same.the hotel itself is nice the reps were great and very helpful especially olly very nice lad it's not really a family hotel as a lot of young people stay here and the town is about 15mins in taxi or about hour walk and beach is 15 min walk and in all sunny beach is a nice place would defo go back but wouldn't stay for a lot of reasons but as they say everyone is different so try this place out if you like ur experience may be a lot different.

Myself and a group of friends stayed at this hotel during our holiday in Sunny Beach.

For those of our age group (18-30), it was adequate for our needs... a place to rest our heads after a mad evening out drinking and socialising! For any other age group, or families, I wouldn't recommend! Purely based on the fact that you're going to be surrounded by groups of friends who are in party mode for their entire stay... and with a 24 hour bar, you can't avoid it. It's a simple as that.

The hotel room/apartment was good sized, the beds were comfy, and the shower and bath (the bath was not expected at all!) worked just great. Shower could use a shower curtain as the floor did get wet and slightly dangerous at times. The sofa bed... well, I wouldn't recommend using that as a bed... I woke up with the worst back pains after sleeping on it. But that may have just been bad luck. After making friends with other groups at the hotel, their sofa beds were fine... so I guess it's hit and miss with what you're gunna get! The room also has a balcony so you can smoke, hang things over the rails to dry, etc.

You have to pay a deposit of 200 Lev which you get back at the end of your stay, providing the rooms are left in the same state they started in. We broke a few glasses... but this doesn't come out of your deposit as you'd imagine it would... they decided to stop your room card working and wouldn't lock your room until you paid the charges (8 Lev a glass). This confused and annoyed me, but no major complaints. We got the full 200 Lev back which meant we had some extra money to spend on the last day.

The staff weren't always friendly and welcome, but overall not bad people to be around. There was always a slight language barrier, which should be rectified as its a 2wenty's Rep hotel... it's kind of expected that you can both understand each other! The security guards are miserable gits, and there are a list of dos and don'ts, which includes charges you'll incur if you do something they don't like! Any normal person respects said rules, so can't imagine it being a problem for anyone.

The pool was great, and there are plenty of sunbeds to lounge around on during your drunken/hungover state whilst catching the rays. The pool is cold, but refreshingly so. It cured a lot of my hangovers, if the heir of the dog failed to work.

The 2wenty's reps are friendly and extremely helpful, and if you're staying at the Palazzo on a 2wenty's holiday, I would highly recommend doing the events they hold. We paid for them on arrival to the hotel during our welcome meeting and had something to do every day. If you're looking for fun, without feeling like you're being degraded, do the events with 2wenty's. Partycrew and Viking completely degrade their guests to 'have fun' and that's what gives Sunny Beach the bad reputation. If you're with the right reps, the reputation isn't deserved.

There is also a small convenience store over the road from the hotel, which is great if you're looking for something cheap to eat (unless it's English brands... then it's a bit more pricey - not majorly so though), cheap alcohol and mixers to drink and cheap fags to smoke! You can also order in fags to take back to the UK. Not sure what brands they can get in, though.

If you run out of money, there's also a currency exchange place just down the road. Great for emergencies!

The strip isn't close... walkable, but not as close as it says in the brochure. But then taxis aren't extortionately priced, as long as you agree a price before you leave! 20/30 Lev tops! Guys be careful, I've heard a few things about taxi drivers starting on men... but women generally never have any problems. Though a tad distance away, it's kinda ideal because you don't get stuck with the noise all night if you're trying to sleep. The hotel bar does play music, but this is usually turned down a few notches when many are stumbling back in to go to bed.

Also, if you want WiFi, you do have to pay for it, but it's not much. If I remember correctly, it was like 3 Lev for an hour, which increased gradually for the length of time you wanted it.

Overall, I don't have anything majorly bad to say about the hotel. Despite the few slight problems, I would return. In fact, writing this review makes me want to come back now! Take me back... :(

Room Tip: Ask for an apartment... more room! South side if you want a quieter room.

We arrived at the palazzo at night and it is lit up beautifully. The staff aren't overly friendly however the hotel was lovely and room was clean and very big. It was usually quite busy and loud but if you want peace by the pool just cross the road to the other half of the hotel. The strip is a bus ride away which is super cheap but you have to watch out for it. The value for money is amazing. Worked out 25p for a tequila!! Food in the hotel was good too. I would go back to the palazzo for a party holiday but wouldn't reccomend that part of sunny beach for a family holiday.

I have just got back from my holiday here and the hotel itself is lovely, a bit of distance from the strip, but that in itself was a perk as you are sheltered from a lot of the disturbances of the busy nightlife and a short taxi for 15 Lev (about £6 between your group) is nothing, as well as when booking with the reps some free journeys are included.

They can be hot on fines but its a simple equation, be respectful to the hotel and they can't fine you, and will show you respect back.
The best thing about staying at Palazzo apart from the fabulous reps and cheap 24 hour bar with my favourite 2 for 1 on all cocktails (i recommend the palazzo cocktail) is that throughout the week you get a great chance to develop familiarity with the other holiday and party goers staying there, which by the end of the week almost feels like one big family (depending upon your willingness to socialise and get involved with events). There is music all day and always a pool party vibe, however if you do want to escape the music and the busy pool area there is another pool across the street which is more relaxing and a little quieter.

Now onto the important stuff.... THE FAB REPS
Upon arrival me and the other 7 lads in the group were very sceptical about the packages offered by the 2wentys reps, however we sat down with one of the reps (Sophie) after dropping our bags and having a drink and started our welcome meeting.

Straight away instead of bombarding us immediately with 2wentys deals Sophie ran through a few do's and don'ts for the holiday (e.g. where to go, where not to go, taxi's, offers at the bar etc.) , which in the long run proved to be valuable in helping to make the holiday more enjoyable. Eventually we decided to go with everything on offer from 2wentys as not only do they offer great some events/activities but makes your holiday much more convenient and provides an opportunity to fully experience the nightlife in sunny beach.
After buying the package it didn't take long for us to see another benerfit of booking the events with the 2wentys reps, which was you get a great chance to familiarise and socialise with others from the hotel, all reps, workers and guests on the events (the day time beach party event is a great example of this). As soppy as it sounds, making friends among the other guest will benefit your experience on the strip and during the holiday.

I have to give a big shout out to the Reps Ollie, Gemma and Charley for all their hard work in making everything run smoothly and ensuring everyone is having a great time, but Sophie in particular who really looked after our group and helped make some great memories. Loved every minute, take me back to Sunny Beach !!!

Room Tip: Pool side view if you don't mind the music and want the sun on the balcony

Got back from Sunny Beach just over 1 month ago. Beautiful place and excellent clubs for youngsters. The hotel itself is beautiful however the customer service is woeful, and security guards are miserable! Be careful too, they will rob you by fining you for nothing. A young lad i seen got fined 200 lev for breaking a plastic table. Scandolus.

Just be careful, oh also they want 200 lev deposit for when you arrive which they give you back at end of your stay. I wont be returning to Palazzo and would not reccomend it to anybody.
