Very nice hotel with great hotel staff. A bit outside Sunny beach central but easy to walk or by bus. We wanted to have a calm and relaxing holiday and this was perfect. The hotel bar and restaurang was great for lunch and cold drinks at almost any time. Some small issue with missing toaster, AC not working but in total perfect holiday visit.

Stayed at New Line Village July 2012, after reading the reviews here on Tripadvisor.

We ordered the airport-shuttle from Varna airport, and was met by a represantive from New Line when we landed. He didn't speak so much english but it didn't really matter. We wasn't up to that much converastion after the flight anyways.

The village itself are several buildings placed around the pool. Our one-bedroom apartment was bright, clean and had a good standard. The whole facility has a calm atmosphere and since it's a ten-minute walk from the beach itself you wont have any trouble sleeping or relaxing at all.

The brouchure in the room recommends you to leave your key at the reception when leaving the facility. I do not recommends this as the reception closes at 2200 and is suppose to be managed by a securityguard. We actually got locked out one night when the guard wasn't present when we came back at night. We were however more than compensated for this, but I still recommend to bring your key when you leave.

As i mentioned before the location is superb as it is close enough to the beach for a walk, but far enough to be quiet. There is also a busstop to minutes down the road. And a taxi is never far away if you prefer that.

The staff is very helpful and serviceminded. I cant remember ever feeling so truthfully taken care of - even at five-star facilities. Sice they dont have that many apartments you'll get recognized at breakfast wich also adds to the intimate feeling at New Line. An optional breakfast that i strongly recommend you add to your order when you book your room!

I can strongly recommend both Bulgaria, Sunny Beach and New Line Village for both couples, families or just friends on a holiday.

Room Tip: Ask if there is anything available with a view of Sunny Beach. If not, I would check for one with a...

We stayed for 6 nights at the end of August. To our surprise the road from the main street to the premise was not asphalted, and we struggled to walk with our luggage. The studios were cheap but very unlikeable, so we upgraded to an apartment for almost twice the price. Many of the apartments have been sold off, and equipment may vary depending on the owner. Ours had extra TV and washing machine, so we were asked to pay more than what is advertised on the internet. Keep in mind that this is an apart complex: there is no room servise, there aren't even phones in the rooms! To get fresh towels you have to pay few more leva. The pool is clean, albeit somewhat small, we used it in the afternoons while we went to the sea in the mornings. You can walk to the beach but we took the bus and went to another part where it was nicer. We did some cooking as well - there are basic utensils to meet the need. We discovered that the ZORA shop down the road is a total rip off. Later in the vacation we found much cheaper grocery store called MLADOST.

About personnel - not exactly friendly, this is Bulgaria after all. The ladies at the front desk will need to consult Vihar (or Victor, the boss) for anything, especially if it involves money. And this is annoying, you wait and then you hear excuses and reasonings why it's not possible, or why you have to pay more... Very unprofessional.

Overall, if you come in group of 4+ people, don't mind the above and do cook, you can have a cheap vacation in a quiet and scenic location. For us it was expensive, for the 55 Euros we paid per night we could have stayed in a hotel, meals inculed.

TIPS: Take the city bus and ask for Cacao Beach - it has nicer sea (no seaweed) and there are no paid parasols to block your view. Buy your own parasol for 10 leva (a day's rent is 7). Shop in MLADOST, a 10 mins walk from Sunny Beach bus station, ZORA stores are rip off.

My wife and I saw New Line Village last year when out for a walk one evening - we were staying in downtown Sunny Beach at the time . Our hotel ( will not name it ) was fine but my God but it was noisey at night. Anyhow we made contact with Victor ie the guy who runs New Line Village and then earlier this year we booked for the last week in May.. We were met at the airport by a really lovely guy who turned out to be the in house maintenance man .. We were vey impressed with New Line Village it is spotlessly clean , it,s bright and airy . As for our room , we could not fault it in any way at all . We had a view at the back of the hills behind New Line and at the side a view of the pool.. To top this there is like a roof top garden on the top of most appt blocks - from here there are great views of Nessebar and Sunny Beach . NLV does light snacks and breakfast etc there is also a well stocked bar with a good variety of drink - and cheap ! The beach is about a 5 min walk ie down to the main road then a brief but lovely walk through an old hospital garden to the beach .. A few 100 yards down the main road is an excellent supermarket that also does hot and cold food .. There is a very good bus service from the main road almost every 20 mins to downtown Sunny Beach or simply stay on as it turns around at Nessebar .. there is shuttle bus which also travels from the magnificient Victoria Palace Hotel to downtown Sunny Beach and Nessebar - there is only 1 price no matter where you are going and it,s 1 lev ( 50p ) . We loved NLV it was great in every way but one thing I will never forget is the sounds of the birds singing at night in the hills behind our appt and also during the day - I have never in my 50+ years heard anything like it - fantastic . Lastly but not least there was Sveti and Niki the receptionists and Bob the barman - you could not get 3 nicer people - oops ! I almost forgot Victor the boss man - he,s Austrian and a very helpfull and lovely bloke .. We will be back to New Line Village again next year for 2 weeks this time and my daughter Kim , her husnband and daughter Madisson are going there in Sept and I know they will love it .. Thanks to all of the staff at New Line Village for making our stay so wonderful.. John

Room Tip: They are all much the same - lucky dip I suppose
