“Nice rooms, amazing salad bar”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 June 2013

Imperial hotel was our second choice since the first one didn't have availability for the period we wanted. I guess destinity has its ways and put us in Imperial. Trully nice 4-star hotel only 100m. to the beach (There are no buildings in front of it, it is just sand dunes, this is why is about 100m.). Very close to Nessebar and the Old town Nessebar where we loved to have walks and buy gifts. There is a private beach that the hotel offers for extracharge (about 8 EUR) with all-inclusive bar - free beer and sodas, what could you ask more. The room is spacious, cleaned everyday, new towels everyday, big screen TV, minibar (extracharge though). Also every point of the hotel has Wi-fi. There is free Wi-fi in the lobby, but it is very slow. I bought day internet doe only 2.5 EUR at reception. And now - the restaurant. I was surprised on how many different stuff they have put out. Whole section of fruits, big one for main courses and even a kids corner. There is a salad bar as I have never seen before. One chef i standing there and is making salads on demand. Which i great because you see how fresh are all the vegetables.

Highly recommended hotel!

My first time in Bulgaria alone with friends and we picked the Imperial Hotel in Sunny Beach and it was a good choise. Lovely location in the beginning of Sunny Beach closer to Nessebar, also very close to Cacao Beach where the nightlife is at its best. It took us 5 minutes to get to Nessebar though the beach.

The hotel staff were very friendly and fun. Special thanks to Dancho at the Snack Bar where we spend most of our evenings. Great cocktails and service! Also reception staff were very helpful and always advising us where to go and which place is nice.

We booked All Inclusive vacation and got food and drinks throughout the day. We preffered eating out in nessebar and especially the old town. Went a few times in the restaurant and loved the show cooking. The chef prepared special Bulgarian meat dishes and served them directly to our table.

Rooms were also quite spacious and clean. Nice view if you have higher floor. The wi-fi is paid but very nice with high speed. We could download a movie to watch and put is directly on the TV with USB flash.

I would definitely recommend the hotel to friend and maybe next year we will go again!

This is my second time in the Imperial hotel. I stayed here back in 2011 and was very satisfied. This year the hotel surprised with brand new restaurant (The manager said it opened in May this year). Extended all inclusive working hours, better food and refreshed rooms. This is why I decided to write a review of this property. Me and my wife stayed in the beginning of June and got really nice room on the seventh floor. Since it was very high the view was amazing. The room smelled like new (probably new carpets - probabaly new carpets), it has big screen TV with lots of programs. The maids cleaned the room every day and chaged the towels. We were very happy with the hygiene. Food in the F&B outlets was very tasty. We arrived when there was Italian night - amazing pasta and lasagna! Congrats for the chefs. My wife loved the snack bar since they served pizza and grill. We also ate out few times because it is very cheap and Nessebar is just 10 mins. away. Recommeded hotel!

I stayed here back into September 2012 even though it was coming to the end of the main season the hotel was still pretty full. A nice chilled out area but only a little train ride away to the Sunny Beach and flower street area was only like 3lev for the journey. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much for them. We were all inclusive and yes after being there more than a week u get to know the menu but u come to expect that but eating out was cheap enough and did so on the odd occasion. During the day there is a snack bar down the end of terraced sun lounge area in the hotel where u had hot food options such as pizza slices and chips etc and had a little bar. The alcohol measure in the hotel were very generous to say the least. We always headed off to the local John Smiths pub which was a stone's throw away from the hotel before hitting the town they had local beers along with import names always were showing some form of sport and if they weren't would happily change the change as they had multiple screens along with a pool table and on evenings would have a local band come and play.

All in all a pleasant stop and would return, a hotel for all age groups

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on the rear of the building as its almost of the beach what a great view in the mornin...

We are a few friends from Serbia on a 4 day trip to Sunny Beach and we stayed at the Imperial. Very stylish hotel with Egyptian style, a very "Dubai" look. The rooms and other areas such as pool, lobby, restaurant were very clean. For me this is the most important thing in a hotel and I feel the need to mention it. Food was nice although we ate out most of the times. One thing they should improve - more sun chairs at the pool, it could get a bit crowded.

Me and my partner were waiting a long time for our vacation and were always talking about it and imagined it. I have to say that we had our expectations high. Hotel Imperial matched those expectations and even surpassed them in some points.

When we read about Sunny Beach (it was our first time) we imagined a noisy place with a lot of bars and pubs. Actually it is like this only in the center. Hotel Imperial is located in the beginning of Sunny Beach, very close to Nessebar (10 minute walk). It is very nice and quiet area with greenery and good hotels. The beach is wide and clean. The hotel is located behind the dunes, so basically it is a first line. Once we walked to the center of Sunny Beach – took us about 30 minutes. You can always take the bus (1 lev) or the mini-trains (4 lev). Both stop very close to the hotel.

The rooms are very modern with stylish design and brand new carpets, which gave us an amazing coziness and comfort. It is quite spacious as well with all the 4-star amenities (TV, mini bar, hair drier, safe, Wi-Fi paid, but high speed). The maids were very strict. They came in every day to refresh the room, change the towels and fill in the mini-bar. The couple of days we gave them a tip and there were so happy that made different form from the towel like elephants, swans and other. Really good housekeeping service!

We booked all-inclusive vacation and the web-site said that it is updated concept for hotel Imperial. We got meals and drinks throughout the whole day. They have breakfast and if someone is late there is brunch. Sometimes we popped up to the snack bar for a quick snack – there are always fruits, pizza, some veggies and sweets. Some days there were pancakes and ice cream. During the dinner they serve welcome drink (champagne) and invite is to take some cheese and grapes to combine it with the taste of champagne. The food is very nice with great variety. There is once per week Italian night and Bulgarian night. The decorations of the restaurant changes and the food served are typical for the country.

Another great point is the private beach. It is 3-4 minutes walking distance from the hotel. We bought voucher from reception (15 lev) and we got 2 sun chairs and 1 umbrella plus access to the “all inclusive” beach bar as they call it. There is a person to help you and accommodate you to your sun chairs, helps you with the towels and everything.

In conclusion we spend 7 days of much needed all inclusive holiday and we will be back. I recommend Imperial to everybody!

And we are back from our holiday to Bulgaria... I wish it haven't ended but... Well the hotel we stayed in was Imperial. I have to say that Imperial was one of not many working hotels in May. At least it was the only one you can noticed at night since it was all lighten up. The rooms are spacious with a huge balcony facing the sea. Beds were quite comfortable as well. We gave a 5 lev tip to the maids and got absolutely excellent service throughout our vacation. The snack bar was closed in May, but they organized snacks in the terrace of the restaurant. Nice and fresh pizza with some BBQ. Actually about the food - it was very nice, may be some variety missing but everything they offered was very tasty. the whole yard and surrounding were very clean and tidy, we could wee the maids working non stop to keep it that way. There was a graduation prom when were there and it was quite an experience to see how Bulgarian students spend prom night. All in all I recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: Ask for higher floor! The view is beautiful
