Clean hotel and rooms, verry good food (not too diversified), close to the beach, verry frendly employes, excepting one of the girls at the reception desk, who was verry arrogant.
- Free Parking
- Breakfast included
'During the night, large black cockroaches are crawling through our room and the stink is unbearable.
I am fairly sure that it is not only our room that has bugs...
At our complaint, we were moved to another room yet, the terrible experience remained.
The personnel is apathetic, rude and impolite. It is beyond belief what the arrogant four-star hotel personnel in such an impressive building allows themselves...''
Me and my wife stayed at the Imperial Sunny Beach and loved it. The hotel is Egyptian style which is very interesting. The rooms are quite big and cleaned daily. Hygiene is very important for me and I am a bit of a fanatic when it comes to cleaning. So this hotel lived up to the standards. MAids came every day and changed the towels, refreshed the room and washed the terrace. Linen was changed every 2 days, so this is very good also. There is Wi-fi in the room which is paid but it very fast. Air-conditioning worked fine actually, it is not very common for hotels. Food in the restaurant was also very nice. Good variety, delicious salads and fresh fruits. Highly recommended.
Great holiday spent at the Imperial hotel. For 2 weeks (end of June - beginning of July) we enjoyed our all-inclusive stay at this beautiful hotel. Location is great - quiet part of Sunny Beach. We went to the center and it is crazy - full of bars and drunk people. Imperial is located in the beginning of Sunny Beach - so 2-3 km. from the center. Bus ride costs only 1 lev per direction, so we could get to Nessebar or the Centre very quickly. At the same time it was so quiet - actually a nice rest in the evening. Room are spacious, modern and full of nice amenities.Bed is extremely comfortable - overslept every day and missed the breakfast. Pool is large enough but there aren't enough sun chairs for everyone. If you get up a bit late you might end up without a parasol or sun chair. Anyway there is the private beach - for just 8 EUR you get 2 sunchairs and one parasol + all inclusive bar at the beach, so no need to walk to the hotel to get a cold beer. This is such a nice service and for that I would return to the hotel.
Most staff very friendly, except the reception staff. Food was really bad same stuff everynight. The snack bar look good in the morning but would not advise anyone to eat the salad or cold meat as sits in the boiling sunshine all day. Swimming pool was nice shame about the broken steps getting in and out the pool, also no life guard on duty at the pool and first aid point. Room ok, shower and toilet leaked which meant the floor was wet all the time. Cleaner did come in everyday to just give us clean towels no cleaning done. Also had to keep asking for toilet roll at reception as cleaner did not like leaving any. Entertainment very poor.
We were very happy with the Imperial hotel and our stay. We chose it because of the nice value it offered for June. There were only tiny bits of disappointments such as smelly lobby toilet, but it is nothing compared with the overall experience. To start with the rooms. Good sized, very clean and modern style. We actually loved staying in our room especially for the view. Tip to future travellers that might read this review - book a sea-view room. You will not be sorry for the extra money you spend. The restaurant is called Casablanca, don't know why... Did not find anything that reminded of Casablanca but anyhow. Big terrace, huge show cooking station where you could bet so many different things - pizza, pasta, grilled meat, grilled veggies and so on. The fruits were also very good. One drawback is they won't allow you to take out food from the restaurant. I guess this is practice in Bulgaria. We have stayed in other hotels in Sunny Beach and it was the same. Another good part is the beach. For 8 Euro you get 2 sunchairs and 1 parasol. It is actually very cheap because we went to Cacao Beach and we had to pay 20 Euro for the same. And it doesn't stop here - there is all inclusive bar at the beach - free beer without walking to the hotel. What could ask more... All in all a great hotel and totally recommended.
