Will start with the bad points :
Food is not nice unless you like chips and salad, we wasn't the only ones every English person that was staying there said the same thing. Breakfast no bacon no sausages boiled eggs cold and 2 x toasters that don't work the list goes on, lunch is the same thing cold food and not much information in English of what the food is so try if you dare! They have a snack option at 4pm which is just cheese on toast and things like that, a lot of people said that was the best meal of the day which really sums it up, tea time is just as bad as dinner so not much to say about that. There was damp in the dinning room ceiling and corridor outside the dinning room and on some days smelt fusty and damp.
All inclusive : starts from 10:30 in the morning and finishes at 10:30pm so no more drinks after that time as the bar closes, meals are set to specific times so if you miss any meal times you can't get anything to eat from the hotel so hardly a all inclusive is it ?? There is no entertainment on a night time at all, the hotel is quite large but only about 30 sun loungers so always bickering going on over them as it cost 24lv to sun bath on the beach with parasol and 2 sun loungers. If you get a back room in the hotel your view will be a building site as they are building a new hotel there.
The slope leading to the pool from the inside bar is lethal if slight dust or wet I witnessed a few people going flying. Rooms are wafer thin and about a 20mm gap under the room doors so you can hear everything on a night.
Good points very clean and not far from some good pubs and restaurants and about 20mins from the strip and the couples we met there was great and had some good meals out and drinks :)
Got back this morning to the uk on 28/6/2014

We stayed here for 10 days starting 7th June 2014 . Hotel is very very clean and our room was very comfortable . It was an absolute bargain for the price .We had an all inclusive deal but after trying the food on a few occasions the only meals we ate were breakfast as the rest of the food was not very good and always COLD . If you stay here you will have a great time but take money to eat out (which is very cheap anyway ) .All in all a very good hotel good location good staff good pool but food lets it down .

The hotel is spotless, staff friendly, food is catered for Eastern europeans rather than english, it was cold most of the time just lucky cheap to eat out, it is set on edge of main town oy a very short walk to beach, not enough sun beds round pool but again very clean, all inclusive drinks bar shuts at 10·30 and then no one around to sell aftef, no entertainment in the evening but for a very cheap holiday you dont expect much, the manager and daytime reception staff have very poor english where bar staff so much better but come here with an open mind

Room Tip: Even numbers poolside

Just had a weeks holiday here and really enjoyed myself, it's out of sunny beach enough not to be disturbed. The staff were all very friendly, food at breakfast was good can't vouch for lunchtimes as was always on the beach. Evening meal is better if you go earlier rather than later as it's hotter, you have to be really fussy not to find something you like to eat, always plenty of salad and fruit if not.

The bar area was always warm not sure why the air con wasn't on.

Rooms were spacious we had 504 top floor, pool view never disturbed by anyone. All very clean too.

Nessebar was a nice place to visit in the evening and also a good night at khan's tent. Wifi in the bar shame that wasn't extended to the rooms.

All in all a pleasant hotel and pleasant stay, would come back

Room Tip: Pool view,

We stayed here from the 7th june to 14th June 2014, picked it on a last minute deal and its probably one of the best holidays we have had . We had room 506 overlooking the pool . The room was large , guessing 18feet by 15 and the balcony added another 4 feet to that . It was spotless and newly decorated . TV - one english channel, hairdryer , fridge but no kettle but we prepared for that.Oddly no shower curtain but the bathroom was adapted to be more of a wetroom anyway .As we arrived at 3 in the morning we were greeted at reception and handed a packed breakfast , just a sandwich, water and orange but it was very welcom then . The lad at the counter took our bags all very good . All the staff spoke some english and could get the message across , were all friendly and worked hard the gardener/handy man you could see him working at breakfast then again at night .Rooms were cleaned and hoovered daily and towels were replaced . Asked for the air con to be looked at and it was the next day and it was better although not terrific. you could see staff polishing through the day Food was alright continental breakfast three types of cerial, salads , fruit .meats, fried and scrambled eggs , beans , german sausage and maybe a frittata or the like , toast and croissant , jam ,honey tea and coffee the lunches and snacks were similar , hot easy food , more salads plenty of chips , pizzas, cakes .The evening menu was salads , soups - try the pork soup-and things like stews not always my taste but it was good honest bulgarian style food and always edible . There would be three dishes out at any one time , a meat dish , a fish dish and a veggie option as one finished a different option was brought out . dessert would be cakes or ice cream The pool is quite small , not sure if there would be enough sunbeds if the place was full - season seemed to start in June but the beach is 10 minutes away , the town maybe 20minutes . The bus stops just outside if you need it .And there are places to visit nearby , nessebar and sozepol are worth a visit for the day . A good night is to be had at the khans tent . The tour rep can organize all these if you wish . Its a nice town with all the bars you need and shops and the people are friendly and if you have euros or pounds or dollars you can net a bargain .The locals value these currencies more than their own .Always felt comfortable , never any trouble around . We will be back to the Aquamarine and sunnt beach

We stayed here for two nights and very much enjoyed ourselves. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated, just a shirt jaunt from the strip and the sea. It was still a touch cold, and it rained while we were there, however we still went in the pool and had a blast!! I would absolutely return to The Aquamarine, and recommend it to everyone!!

We are staying here 5 days and in addition to the great deal we got (paying very little and getting a lot more than expected) - the hotel is super clean, super well situated and the staff is great! I am a clean freak and I have no complaints! The rooms are spacious and everything is new! They all have balconies overlooking a gorgeous pool!
The staff is very friendly and helpful! The hotel is quiet and situated one block away from Cacao beach - away from the maddness of the center of Sunny Beach but close enough to get there. There is a perfect beach bar and all the beach clubs are right there. It is also on the bus stop to Nessebar!

We couldnt want more from the place! I would definitely recommend it to all my friends and will definitely consider coming back here.
