I and my family visited this hotel this year. It was the best choice we make. We were 9 all together in 4 rooms with side sea view. Very comfy, clean rooms with 1 bathtub, shower cabin, 2 sinks, bathrooms amenities. TV worked ok, I mostly watched the music channels. Air-conditioner also worked very good, because most of the days the temperature outside was more than 35OC, but inside we did not feel it.
Because we were with my little nephew, we decided to book the all-inclusive program. It was easier for his parents (my sister and her husband), that there was something to eat during the whole day. The Main Restaurant is enormous, but good organized. It has 2 entrances heading directly to the buffet area, 2 corners for taking drinks (juice, coffee, wine) and two doors for the outside small terraces, where you can also eat. The food was delicious and variable. On the one side of the buffet are the salads, than is the main dishes on a hot plate and also a show cooking. We love the meat on the show cooking – the chef always makes our order exactly as we wanted it, thank you! My brother in law enjoyed the fish soaps on one of the nights.
The swimming pool was our beloved place! All day long in the water – swimming, playing with the nephew – there is one side only for little kids, where the water is about 50sm. Also the animators make our time around the pool amazing and funny. My nephew spend every afternoon (15:00 – 17:00) in the Mini Kids Club, so we can also have our relaxing time
Verry verry satisfied with everything! We are coming back next summer!

Unplanned vacation that make us fall in love in this hotel. Traveling to Varna on a business matter, we have to spend some days in the area. After that we needed relaxation and some quiet time. Spend it in Melia, especially in the SPA area – massages, sauna and the inside pool was not so crowded. We booked only BB, but on two nights we paid to have dinner in the hotel.
Great staff, working hard, smiling to you all the time, happy when you say thank you on your way out of the restaurant.
Our accidental choice, to book this hotel, turn into wonderful memories.

For three years in the summer we are going to Melia. Charming personell, good food and always something new to surprise you. Every time we were there, we take the all-inclusive package and a room with park view. Never tried the Level program, but this year we won a voucher-ticker for a dinner in the Level Restaurant. It was better than we expected, so next year definitely we are going to try it.

This hotel has top class areas and 2* areas. The level area is 5 star but if you book all all inclusive deal expect poor views, average rooms, no sunbeds,cheap drinks in plastic cups and no real coffee or tea spoons. The restaurant runs like a school canteen when all the dinner ladies are on sick, just a free for all food and dirty pots just all over. When you did find a clean table and cutlery the food was tasteless and cold. The all inclusive program ended at 22-30 and no supper or night or day snacks just full board with plastic cups of ???? Saw Balkan reps from having lunch early they want to try it at 7pm before telling customers best hotel.
The pool area floor is a mess all broken up in need of quick repair. So So understaffed it is just a joke. While level customers have loads of staff, if the hotel dont forget this level treatment the few people they have on this rate is all they will have.
I was disappointed as usually tripadvisor get it right but looks like the main excellent ratings are from people living in Bulgaria. Visited many countries over the years never has a 5* hotel given such poor service from so few drastically overworked unhappy staff.

Been there for 2 weeks with my girlfriend. We were on the Level program in a Junior suite. We are very pleased with the services and the staff. Welcome drink by check-in in a private reception with little surprices in the room (truffels). Luxurious and sophisticated restaurant with nice waiters. Always cleaned us and smily. Food was tasty and they make some of it infront of you - by your request. Everyday changing menu. Great services at the Lounge as well - host serving the drinks, music on the background, perfect sea view from the terrace. Do not miss this experience.

Bevor my vacation, I decided to check the websites about the reputation of the hotel. I was verry worried we book it, because of some of the comments about the food. But we went there from 16.08 til 23.08 and I must say we were pleasantly surptised. Friendly staff, super services and much fun. Also the food in the restaurant has a great variety every day and tasted good. Some of the days there were fish, on the others pork, but every day fresh fruits and vegies. We have a realy good time in this hotel, also thanks to the animation.

Melia is the best 5* hotel in Golden Sands. We are happy we book it this summer with their LEVEL program. For 10 days (01.08 – 10.08) we felt like the most important people in the hotel. Separate restaurant with light music, show cooking, food on a buffet and waiters serving the beverages. The LEVEL Garden, which we enjoyed and loved so much with it’s tents, close to the pool, but away from the music. Also big advantage was the LEVEL lounge, where they give you drinks during the day and a free use of a laptop for one hour. There is a host, which makes you feel even more comfortable and pampered.
We have a different kind of experience in this hotel. Even when one unpleasant situation occurred, the front desk managed to fix it quickly and in a friendly way. Thank you for taking care of us, Melia, we will definitely come back next year.
