The Green House B&B
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 11 June 2014

Spent a lovely weekend at this perfect b&b. Liam and Allan have decorated this beautiful house to perfection. Attention to detail is amazing and they really care about their home and their business. We took my parents there and they had a beautiful suite which meant they could be comfortable. It is well situated to see so many lovely places in that part of Norfolk.

We highly recommend this boutique house. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Thank you both!

Room Tip: Think they are all lovely!

Just cant fault this fantastic b and b. The hosts Alan and Liam have thought of everything you need for a most enjoyable stay. The bedroom we had was spacious, really comfy bed,a great bathroom that's all high spec, and totally spotless throughout. We had booked for dinner as well, Alan really knows his way around the kitchen. The 5 course meal we had was so tasty and at such a reasonable price as well. Liam is the type of guy that after meeting him for ten minutes you think you have known him all your life. They really made us feel welcome and I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of staying here to book up now! Perfect.

3 Couples mainly in their 60's, with 4 of the 6 celebrating birthdays within the previous 2 weeks, arrived mid afternoon, had a superb 5 course meal (by prior arrangement) and received 5 star treatment from Liam & Alan, the Green House hosts. Everything down to the smallest detail was spot on! The rooms were very clean, spacious and well appointed as was everything else in the building. Liam & Alan were attentive without being intrusive and very knowledgable it seemed on whatever was discussed from food to wine and where to go to the news of the day. The excellence of the establishment did not mean a high price to be paid and I considered that £85 per head for dinner, bed & breakfast including many gin & tonics, wine with dinner and liquers afterwards was tremendous value. We will return without a doubt!

We recently stayed at the Green House just for one night. It's great that you can do this here, as lots of B and B's insist on two nights on summer weekends, but much as I would prefer two nights away, it's not always possible with other commitments.
The B and B is situated by a village green in a lovely part of Norfolk and the sun was shining on arrival, which always helps! The owners were at the front door before we were to greet us and show us to our room, which we were very pleased with. Everywhere in The Green House was spotlessly clean, and, in contrast to the traditional exterior, our spacious bedroom, and the en suite were contemporary in style, with a brilliant walk-in drench shower ( no bath in ours, but we are happy with that).
There was some road noise, but we don't get any through traffic at home so we are maybe more sensitive than most to that. We just closed the front window and opened the bathroom window instead. The bed was comfy with lovely fat fluffy pillows ....... we both slept very well.
There was a great selection at breakfast, taken in the sunny dining room. I personally appreciated the hygienic way the food was laid out, with the butter on ice, and the bread/ pastry items under cover. The hot food was cooked fresh to order, and here I would say is where I made a mistake, the full English breakfast was huge! I know no one made me, but I ate too much!
A great B and B, we hope to return.
