After staying at a few hotels for hockey I need to say that I really liked the welcoming atmosphere of this hotel. We were not made to feel as outcasts as many hotels make hockey teams feel. They were very friendly, the rooms were clean and had great pillows and the kids loved the pool which is situated away from the rooms. Good morning buffet but Timmy's and Boston Pizza are right next door. Thanx so much....we will be back.
We stayed here for a week. Two rooms with our kids. The beds are horrible and I don't think they could get the linen clean if they tried. Housekeeping barely touched the room ( no cups or coffee refill ). They didn't even make the kids beds because one had left a book on it. The continental is mediocre, barely edible. There is absolutely nothing to do there other than attempt to sleep, no lounge, ect. No couches in the rooms only a single hard chair. The last night they must have moved a bunch of gorillas upstairs, we phoned to complain & it didn't stop. My husband finally went downstairs only to be told that the people wouldn't answer the phone. We paid $1000 for possible the least restful stay I have ever had. We have stayed here every time we visit, we won't be staying here again.
I apologize for any issues that you experienced during you stay with us. We are in the process of updating all the beds within our hotel. We recently conpleted the installation of granite vanities in all guest rooms. We are currently in the process of installing floor tile at the entranceway to each room. Our linens are replaced on a regular basis as they become worn or stained. We are also in the planning stages of replacing the carpet and the bedding for each guest room. I also apologize for any noise from children in the room above you.
There was a dirty sock found under the chair in the room when we moved it, the room walls were not in good shape, the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The staff were friendly and the continental breakfast was satisfactory. There was also a piece of chewed gum beside the bed. Room was very hot, couldn't cool it off much, opened window.
I apologize for the issues you experienced during you stay with us. We have been training new housekeeping staff and they missed the sock and the chewed gum. We are in the process of updating the hotel with new beds, new granite vanities in the bathrooms and also patching and painting the walls of each room. This has been an ongoing process as we try to keep on top of any wear and tear with routine mainentance.
