A local suggested this cafe as a good choice for plain good food. It's associated with the Lodge motel but in a separate modest building. A couple of soups were listed on the menu board, and we decided on sausage bean and creamy chicken rice. Also ordered a tossed salad thinking it would be a good light lunch. The waitress brought out two enormous freshly made salads with a variety of fresh vegetables along with our soups. Soups were better than home made and really hit the spot along with the salad. I noticed another diner's hamburger-a double which was enormous. This is the place to stop. Salads were 2.95 and soup 3.95-quite the deal.
