My fiancee and I were travelling too Edmonton to go to west Edmonton mall (which was so cool!) and we were tired so we stopped in Grand Forks and stayed at the Imperial Motel. The owners were this sweet couple that were so nice and helpful we had dinner with them and talked for hours. I recommend these accommodation to anyone travelling to Grand Forks or just driving through it was great!!!!!!
We spent one night at the Imperial Motel while on our way to Banff. Because of mudslides and torrential rains we had to take an alternate route and book a room along the way at the last minute. The owner, Andrew, was very accomodating and even led my husband over to look at the room during check-in to make sure it was what he wanted for the night. This motel is older but it is very clean and well maintained. It is run by Andrew and his wife and they aim to please. We had a restful night and would stay there again when in the area. Andrew was friendly and very helpful.
