We took our 2 boys (6 & 11) on the Paradise Ridge full day trip. The trip was exactly as described. We visited the mine site, had lunch at the cabin at Paradise Mine and climbed to the top of the mountain (low gear in 4x4) to 9000'. Absolutely stunning views. No room for any careless behaviour on this trip! Our boys LOVED the time in the mud pits. Plan on getting very dusty, and a bit muddy if you play in the pits. Suggest bringing your own rubber boots or shoes you don't mind getting dirty. The views were amazing. A deer jumped down the mountain across our path. No bear sightings but our guide Mike was amazing. We asked lots of questions and he was able to answer them all and more. Very knowledgeable. The other guide - Darren - was in this season's Amazing Race Canada. Absolutely worth the money and drive from Banff.

ATVing is something you shouldn't miss if you are in the Panorama. These guys are just a minute away from the Panorama village. We had picked a raft and ride package and had our money's worth.

The ATVs were in good condition and were well maintained. The ones that we got didn't have power steering, so were a little hard to steer. Other than that, the ride to the top of the hill was thrilling with good twists and turns. There were beautiful streams on the way. We were treated with hot chocolate and cookies at the cabin on top of the hill.

We were allowed to practice driving the ATVs before we took them uphill

They offer insurance up to a small amount on the ATV, which is good in covering off small damages. Riding gear is provided too.

With the raft and ride package we were offered lunch, which was pretty decent.

The rafting was set up with another company. The timing was not managed well, as we lost around 2 hours in the afternoon waiting for our pickup. These guys lost a star mainly for this reason

Apart from this chink, I think the whole thing was pure fun

We got to our launch point and suited up for up the mountain, stopping many times for nature, taking advantage of a great look out or viewing the power of the past winter's avalanche. We arrived at the top of the mountain, where our guide shared the names of the mountain ranges and specific mountains of interest. On the way back, we stopped at Paradise Mine for lunch and a lesson in history. On the way back, we saw a black bear adjacent to the trail. The day was very enjoyable and hope to be back soon.

We took the atv trip and had a great time. The views we're great and well worth it. If you've never driven an ATV I would advise you to take it slow and easy. Enjoy the views.

Had a truly great trip with Toby Creek, from start to finish.

Our guide, Smitty, was truly top class. Extremely knowledgeable about the mountains and snowmobiling, and a really interesting person to talk to, and be taught by.

The food was great - especially the cookies!

All the clothing we didn't have was provided, including avalanche beacons - a nice touch.

Snowmobiles ran well, snow was great, and the thing that really sets this tour apart from others is the 45 minutes of free time in the 'powder bowl' - great fun to have a chance to go off and play with the snowmobiles!

Couldn't recommend Toby Creek highly enough
