“Pure relaxation with a great view”
Reviewed 26 September 2013

My partner and I stayed at Takahashi Gardens at the end of July. It was our first visit to The Sunshine Coast and as there were so many great locations to choose from it was hard to decide. Even before we arrived Elaine made every effort to make sure we had lots of info to get us started with great recommendations of where to eat and where to go. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our very clean and comfortable suite. The views are amazing and we enjoyed the early morning private hot tub watching the wild life and float planes come in and out of the bay. Thanks again Elaine for providing a very relaxing few days. Hayley and Dan

Stayed for the weekend.
Really enjoyed our stay. Elaine is super. She made us feel so welcome. She even bought me
a birthday cake when she heard it was my birthday. Loved our room. King size bed, private hot tub with a view, balcony. All the extra touches,
Cookies, popcorn, special coffees. We will definitely stay
there again. Hopefully soon.

Amazing way to spend our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed in the cottage and enjoyed every minute of it. From siting together on the deck reading, evenings in the hot tub enjoying the peaceful setting to the couples massage, every minute was bliss. Elaine took good care of us and the place had everything we needed and beautifully decorated. Especially enjoyed the Japanese Robes. We will be returning again.

Room Tip: Each room has it's own charm. We stayed in the cottage. the other two suites are in the main hou...

Exquisite suites and cottages where no detail has been overlooked and a hostess who is completely concerned with her guests' comfort. Lovely Japanese themed property, each suite with its own (very) private hot tub, fully equipped kitchen and all amenities. Lovely waterfront views. One relaxes instantly upon arrival and is reluctant to leave.

Stayed at Takahashi for two days July 2013. Was definitely the most relaxing peaceful two days of my life. Elaine went out of her way to make sure my stay was perfect in every way. The massage on the deck of the cottage in the evening was perfection. Will definitely return and bring friends.

Right from the outset, we were greeted with exceptional service and Elaine's signature hospitality. She is the most accommodating guest we have ever met and we have traveled lots. As far as the rooms go, we were blown away. The website does not capture the beauty of the place and the comfort of the rooms. The rooms are very modern and feel like they were just renovated with nothing but top end furniture and appliances. The rooms were very clean and incredibly luxurious. We would go back without question. If you are gonna go to to Sechelt, you need to stay at Takahashi Gardens. Wow. Oh, did we mention the private hot tubs in each suite?

We just returned home from our 3 night visit to Takahashi Gardens. We travel extensively and have never stayed in an accommodation that has had absolutely everything. Elaine is the best hostess ever and if you find you are needing something, she immediately supplies it. The place is spotless and the views are out of this world. We will definitely return in the not too distant future.
Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Any of the 3 rooms/cottage are wonderful.
