What an amazing BB! The price is excellent, as are the accomodations and the atmosphere.
I would recommend this BB to anyone and look forward to going back!
The breakfast was perfect and our host and hostess were lovely and helpful. What a wonderful couple!

Room Tip: Pick the cottage if you can!

We stayed in the Arbutus room this past weekend and it was so good! The huge king size bed was so comfortable and we even saw the sunrise from bed in the morning. We woke up to an amazing breakfast served on the terrace over looking the water. After our fresh fruit and omelette, I hoped into the hot tub and watched the salmon jump in the water. I joined the salmon for an hour long swim. The water was clean and easy to swim in. A huge heron came swooping down by me while I was swimming. The grounds are perfectly manicured and there are so many great little spots to read a book. or watch nature.

The rooms are clean and the owners are the nicest people.

I can't wait to go back to the beautiful gem of a spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beachcomber B&B. The room was modern and clean with a luxurious bed and bedding, satellite TV and large soaker tub. A few board games, and binoculars in the room were nice details. Between exploring the shore, enjoying the well-kept landscaping and taking in the gorgeous scenery from the outside sitting areas we didn’t have to stray very for from what felt like our own private resort. We enjoyed watching seals, herons, eagles and even a deer. Breakfasts served at the private table in front of our room were tasty and filling. The only thing I would have preferred was if the bathroom was a separate room with a door and not only a wall/closet partition. But that is a very minor thing compared to all the luxury you get. We highly recommend it, especially the detached cottage.

We have been to British Columbia five times and this was by far our best accommodations. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owners who were the world’s nicest people with a great sense of humor. The view of the inlet from their place alone will take your breath away. It was low tide when we arrived and as we were looking out, an 8 point male deer walked out on the beach. Another day, we were eating lunch and a balk eagle came and landed on a nearby tree. Crazy!
Our room was amazing. Every detail was taken care of, from binoculars to sandals for you to use when walking on the rocky beach. Robes were also provided. There was a living room area and kitchen for us to use and share with the other guest room. We had a large patio table where breakfast was served every morning. The breakfast was made to order and served when you requested. The food and presentation were exceptional.
I cannot say enough about the property. Hopefully you will take time to look at the photos I post. Words will not do it justice. Every room (there is only three) has a patio with table and chairs. Then, there is additional private seating on the hillside for each guest. And…for those wanting a little shade, a shelter has been recently added which has the same incredible view as every spot on the property. The owners have made the yard the most beautiful one on the coast. There are well maintained paths leading to different places for sitting or using the hot tub or walking down to the water. Staying here is a vacation in itself. Our next visit will be just to relax here instead of running all over the coast each day.

A wonderful way to celebrate our birthdays! We had visited 10 years ago and was surprised because it was even more beautiful than our last visit. You can't beat the location- its right on the water! The accommodations are top notch, breakfast was delish, and Angela and Don were delightful! We would highly recommend this special place.

Just got back to Vancouver after a 3 day stay in Sechelt at the Beachcomber Bed & Breakfast. Don and Angie Baylis were our hosts, and boy did they do everything right! From the different breakfasts every morning, to the magical beach front ambience, to just the right amount of attentiveness and respect for privacy, we truly felt rested and rejuvenated. Another couple recommended the Beachcomber to us, and we want to pay it forward and recommend it to everyone else. We are definitely going to return. Paul and Colleen.
