We had dinner with some regular customers of the restaurant on Thursday evening. My husband and I arrive first and secured a table for 7. As the regular customers are a family of 5.
Our intitial view of the service was accomodating. As we waited for our party to arrive we asked our waitress, who had dropped the menu's at the table and asked us to pass them around for some chinese tea. We placed our order at 6:30pm. We did not get our tea. Our party arrived. The menu's were passed around. We placed our order and waited.
I have to say the restaurant was busy. It was 20 mins before we received the tea. It was another hour before food started coming out of the kitchen for our table. Oh I forgot that something that resembled a spring was was put before us about 20 mins after we placed our order.
Long story short. We felt as if we were being ignored. After we finished our meal we had to to the cash as our bills were not ready. It was an unpleasant experience and their regular customers who had raved about the place were embarrassed by the poor service. Bad night maybe, but there was no interest in making it right. Unlikely we will dine there again.
