Have stopped here twice now on our way thru the area. It has a good feel, great atmosphere, amazing patio and view and some good pub food. They were having some events happening to celebrate the Canucks game so gave out tickets for raffels and waitress was quick with checking on us.
Burgers are Huge and lots of options on the menu

We stopped for a late lunch prior to heading back to the ferry after a day along the sunshine coast. Being a couple of minutes of the highway it can be easily missed unless you are looking for it, but the food was well worth it.

The highlights of our meal were Salmon burgers and seafood chowder. We're a big New England Clam Chowder family, so ordering a seafood chowder and getting a soup that wasn't creamy white was at first a little disappointing - but the first taste and the disappointment was gone. It was perfectly done with a great mix of both vegetables and seafood - definitely changed our opinion of what a great chowder should look and taste like. The salmon burgers were cooked perfectly as well, but were over shadowed by the soup.

Quick note for families: The majority of the restaurant is a pub/bar, so there is only a few tables available for families on one side of the restaurant. When we went that part of the restaurant was nearly empty and the service was slow (nice but slow). If traveling as a family, you may need to be careful during typical lunch time because its possible it could be hard to get a table, and note that although they do have a family side and children's menu, the restaurant wasn't necessarily designed for families as much as its a pub/bar. Plenty of flat screen tv's in every direction so it looks like a great place to watch a game and get better than typical pub/bar food.

Great place to watch a hockey game or whatever is playing in the season while eating their PileDriver burger and looking over Sechelt Inlet and its working wharf. Super atmosphere and I like that they support local industry by carrying beer from our local brewery and Powell River. The servers are great as is the food.

Without question, this pub has a fabulous waterfront setting, and beautiful views, this won't ever change. In the summer its wonderful to sit outside on their deck overlooking the small marina and seaplane warf...not to mention watching the eagles soaring around the trees, plus watching the seaplanes take off and land. This use to be my favorite restaurant, not only for their location/view, but the food was always excellent too. I would rave about it to any one who would listen. However, the menu changed dramatically in the last 2 or 3 years....it's definitely geared for seafood lovers and fancy type food now. Not only did the menu change so did the taste of the food that they kept on the menu from before - I use to crave their hamburgers, which had a unique flavorful sauce on them. Unfortunately, the last time I had their burger, it was mediocre, nothing special, in fact it had too much mustard on it. Due to their highly priced fancy menu, we no longer go there, unless we have out of town guests...then we take them to see the view and only have a glass of wine or share a jug of beer. If it wasn't for the views and setting I would have rated this as poor.
