This restaurant/pub is right on the main street of Smithers. It has a nice patio with glass enclosure and some umbrellas which makes it nice for almost any weather. My only complaint was that the floor of the patio was quite dirty with lots of garbage around. To be fair, it was quite windy that day but it would have taken seconds to sweep it up. The inside seemed very clean and well-cared for. Service was prompt although it took a while to get our beer ... they were very busy.
There is a good selection of beers and the menu had a lot to choose from. Every day seems to have 'specials' and the night we went it was wings at 6/$2.50. That was a good deal! Lots of appies to choose from although I found them quite pricey. For main courses they offered salads, some pasta, burgers and steak sandwiches, fish sandwiches, some seafood and steaks. The highest priced item was $26. We opted for the buffalo chicken salad which was good but with the small amount of chicken on it - I thought it was highly priced at $15. We didn't order or look at desserts. The place was pretty full, but there's lots of seating inside and out. The inside has many different areas of seating so can accommodate large or small groups.

Decent service (though they were under-staffed for a Saturday night), pleasant atmosphere, the food was very good and served reasonably quick, considering.. A nice, laid-back night out. Closed outdoor seating on a nice summer weekend??

Great. Awesome. Very unique cool atmosphere. Super busy often. If your willing to wait and be a number instead of a customer to the waitress go get some wings on Wednesday. Huge wings and very very cheap.

A lot of people told us to eat here. The menu reads like a locavore's dream, but the execution just wasn't there. Overcooked, dark tempura halibut with run of the mill fries. The guiness burger failed to impress though the guiness cheese itself was good. The crab cake appetizer, I would get again, even though it too was on the dark side. The young male host was professional, funny, engaging and happy. He could work anywhere. (For him, I give 5 star service review.) The server was indifferent and I felt like she would have rather been elsewhere. Good looking restaurant and very comfortable seating. Looked like a lot of alcoholic drinks available, too, for those in the mood.

Nice atmosphere, food was good for pub food. One of the best places to eat in Smithers. Customer service was okay.......it was not busy when I was there and the staff did not appear to be rushing...
