“One of the only affordable restaurant choices at Sun Peaks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 August 2013

One of the only affordable restaurant choices at Sun Peaks and kid friendly too. Only pool table at Sun Peaks and specials were very good with a $10 burger and fries daily special and $10 jugs of 1516 Lager daily. Food was not too bad but definitely not under average. Some servers were more friendly than others but training was in process. We ended up going here twice in the two full days at Sun Peaks and never went back anywhere else twice at resort so that says a lot, thank you!

“Nice food, great views!”

We visited this ski resort in the summer, no skiing, but a pretty place to wander around. What a great place for lunch al fresco! A glass of wine and delicious falafel, mmmm good.

“The place to see and be seen in the summer in Sun Peaks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2013

Nothing, but nothing beats a cold beer and burger after a hard day of sending it on the trails at Sun Peaks. More so on the patio in the late afternoon sun. Idyllic.

“Big portions, relaxed atmosphere, but service could be better”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2013

The food portions where on the larger size, and the quality was very good. There was plenty of space in the restaurant, which was good when you have some small children in the party.

The price was above average, but not that expensive for where it is located. At the time of writing this review they have a $10 jug of beer of the day special and between 4pm to 6pm you can get two for one appetizers.

The only thing that let the restaurant down was the waitress. Although she was very pleasant and took are order without any fuss, especially when the youngest could not make his mind up on what he wanted. Once the order had been taken she did not return to the table until the bill was ready to be paid and even then we had to track her down to pay. I found one of the other servers to be more attentive as they brought our food and refilled our empty glasses.

I would certainly recommend this restaurant and will return again, but hope the issue around the service improves.

“yummy food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2013

Yummy good food, ok prices, not very attentive service.
Went there for lunch, (wouldn't suggest it for dinner, there are much nicer places for to go in the evening)
