“Great atmosphere during xmas holidays”

Place was packed over the Christmas holidays. Didn't eat but we had a few drinks and the special $4 for a pint of Molsons was great.

“Nice food but quiet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2014

Had a good meal here over Xmas period although it was really quiet in the evening (around 8pm) as were most places - it is a family resort I suppose! Good service though and location. Not sure if it was meant to be an Irish pub because it didn't feel like one! Overall decent

“Great Service, No kids after 8 oclock”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 December 2013

We arrived late before going to the Italian restaurant and was sat at the bar while we were to wait for a table as it was busy. No big deal however we were not told that in the 20 minutes we had to wait we had to leave because the license changed not to allow kids after 8 o'clock. The manager was awesome though given everything. He looked after us and complimented us a few drinks along with a Poutine to carry us over until we got to another restaurant. Holy awesome. Great service, a bit disorganized but who cares. Poutine was great.

We will go back and will before our Vacation is up.

Cheers.

“A real let down”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 December 2013 via mobile

I had vague hopes that Morrissey's would be a good atmosphere pubs with above average good and a good beer selection -- your typical (pseudo-)Irish bar
Sadly, the atmosphere is more canteen than intimate pub with bright lights and uncomfortable chairs. The food was below average and the beer selection terrible (8 draughts, not even one Pale Ale or IPA).

Sorry Morrissey - 2*; you're set up to be, and should be, so much better.

“Expensive and disappointing.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 September 2013

Patio was good and so were the drinks. Food was meh. Oversalted poutine. Horrible. Had to mix with my husband's fries to cut down on the salt. Do they taste what they serve?? Ordered the chef's special salad. Got a huge plate of glorified coleslaw when I was expecting greens with stuff on it. Had a better salad at Hello Toast in Kamloops. And better sandwiches at Brambles Bakery Cafe in Merritt. So not worth what we paid. Don't bother unless if you only want drinks.
