We stayed here in mid-February with our 2 kids. Manfred and his wife (hotel managers) were helpful and kind.
As some have mentioned, the hotel is a bit dated, but everything is clean and well cared for. I've stayed in newer places that are far more trashed. Our room was very clean, and the kitchenette was well stocked for us to cook most of our meals in the room.
We had a great balcony overlooking the village (which can be noisy at night but we enjoyed the lively scene) and stayed in a room with the beds upstairs in the loft. The mattresses were very firm, which to me is way better than most soft/saggy hotel mattresses that make my back hurt. The room felt very spacious and we lacked for nothing.
The underground parking was awesome. We put our car in on Friday and never touched it again until we left on Tuesday.
I would stay here again any time.More
