This loge reminds you of what you might see in Austria or Switzerland Alpines. It is part of a small community of lodges and shops. We were here in September and there were not many people around. You could see the ski trails and there was a gold course near by. WE had a queen bed and wi-fi was free. The room was nicely decorated with a safe. The logde looked new but was actually approxamately 20 years old.We experience a canoe trip / fur traders feast at a near by lake. The people who run this hotel appreaciate your business and treat you very nice.. The staff made a special breakfast for uor bus group at our request.

Visited Sun Peaks Lodge September, 2013. Front desk was so helpful and very caring. They knew we would be late getting in, so they reserved a parking space for us in front of the hotel. This was during a music festival and community was packed with visitors. They cared enough for their customers to make sure they had parking. The rooms were very clean and modern. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Will visit again when in the area.

We stayed one night on the way to Vancouver after camping for 7. It was wonderful and the quiet village was just what we needed. I imagine winter could get pretty crazy though when the town gets crowded.

We send all of our tour groups to Sun Peaks Lodge and the service is always AWESOME! This hotel is family owned/ operated and the Erler family who own it are the professionally trained in tourism. Their service is top notch! I always recommend this hotel above any other hotel property in Sun Peaks.

Room tip: If you have any special requests, please let them know at time of booking.

After much frustration trying to find a last minute, half decent hotel at a half decent price in Kamloops, I checked out close by Sun Peaks. Sun Peaks is very quiet this time of year and there are astounding bargains to be had. This establishment has a very old school nordic european appearance on the exterior. The interior is very luxurious and the rooms are very plush. My room has vaulted ceilings and all the modern amenities. My room had a great view on the creek side. It is my bet there is no bad side for views at this establishment. I could imagine that in winter, this establishment would be bustling and a cozy place to retreat after a day on the slopes. The staff was so friendly, even putting pylons out to ensure I had good parking. There was breakfast in the morning at 7am, but I had to leave before it started.
